I'm so stoked to be able to share something I'm passionate about with you! Years of training and coaching throughout the world has enabled me to develop coaching methods that take you on a safe journey to becoming a better kitesurfer.
I use a combination of radio coaching, video analysis (drone and beach footage) and theory classes to help you nail the tricks and goals we set for you!
I did the whole get-a-degree-and-a-job-thing and decided the 9 to 5 life isn't for me. Freedom of time is the most valuable thing in the world to me and I can't think of a better way to spend it than pushing my limits and helping others do the same! I love progressing, but respect the elements and know when my mind and body has had too much to go for that last jump. That's what has kept me injury-free for the most part, and it's something I encourage in my fellow kiters.
Book a clinic or private coaching on my website for INSANE progression! Nyeowwww!
This video made me laugh a lot I have been doing kite vacations several times a year for almost 20 years I have used most of these tricks so many times 😂 we are a crafty bunch 😂
Fair enough. Most riders I've spoken to agree that the tic tac is easier because you get to put the board back on using the handle, which makes it easier to pull the board onto your feet. But we're all different ❤️
We're using Apple Watches. I think Apple Watch ultra is the best in the game. But Samsung Galaxy watches are great too. Check the thesurfr.app FAQ to see the list of compatible watches :) BTW you don't need the phone with you. You only need your Apple Watch
I think he looped the kite to early and consequently to close to the power zone. Second time the kite wandered along the window longer and initiated the loop at about 11 o’clock ? did i nail it or am i delusional ?🫠
Nice video! I am interested in Surfr. Are most folks using Garmin, Android, or Apple watch? I am more of an Android guy, so I was thinking of using it with the Google Pixel watch. If anyone has feedback on Surfr performance with an Android watch I would like to hear about it.
It stood out to me when you said for the advanced riders not to turn too upwind and kill your speed!! In the beginning as well when you talked about keeping the board between me and the kite! I only took 2 lessons at 3 hours each and afterwards bought all my gear and have been learning from friends and RU-vid videos and watching this video again has revealed alot more that I didn't understand to begin with! Thanks for the great content!
Awesome vid! You know I`m practicing. One thing I`m trying to figure out is what kite size to what wind is optimal for creating enough speed and power. Is it just pushing the biggest kite to wind that I can keep on edge considering having a good sweetspot? I make notes of my sessions to check what is the most opt size, because winds vary a lot. And I kite from 8 to 45ish knts with kites from 5 to 19meters and every one needs a bit different timing. Most days are 14 to 24 knts . Tips much appreciated. Soon I`ll have the board mount to really get going 🤘
You are a very good teacher mate! I am sending it mainly thank to you. Soon I'll submit the video for the club. How many t shirt did u give away till now?
Man, this video is just pure gold! I've recently hit the 20 Mts on surfr up and this is Hand down the best explanation I've seen so far. Thanks too much for sharing this advice with the kite community, you really are pushing kiting to other lvl. Keep on doing it! Some days when I'll have some money I'll join you on a big air clinic
