We are currently debating a class C over a class A. It is the wife ,myself and our dog. We want to travel in the winter since we are retired and I don’t like winter. Just haven’t found anything there are pros and cons to both the issue I have with the class A is there aren’t many places that will work on them. Dealerships don’t want to work on them either . I previously owned a class A and loved it until it needed mechanical work done.
Great food for thought as we are looking into getting an RV. Just wondering what your thoughts are on Fleetwood. I have read mixed reviews on them. The dealership i like sells them; is it better to go with a good dealership or a better quality RV? The main thing I want is reliability. Also if other viewers can comment I am sure that will be helpful to others as well. Thanks for putting this together!
I have stage 4 in my liver and my grandson has autism and other things as well he is on ssi I on disability I have to have internet that I can rely on to teach him also to do our medical stuff we are still displaced from losing everything in the hurricanes and floods and ice storm and the pandemic we live in a rv park in a fifth wheel and I can not keep internet at all and today you need it I am 64 and lost can you help

This video was so helpful. Glad you had a fun trip. We are heading there in August from Canada in our RV. Do all the sites have electricity hook up? Thks
Awesome - we're so glad to hear that you found it helpful. We LOVE going to Fort Wilderness, it is honestly our favorite place to go camping! Yes I do believe that all the sites have electricity. But I always recommend double-checking when you are booking it. Hope you have a wonderful trip! We can't wait for our next Fort Wilderness adventure! Happy travels! - Josh & Liz
Hi - thanks for watching. All of the prices vary drastically and change often. So we didn't want to give incorrect information. Please check out their official websites for the correct pricing. Thanks!
Ah yes, we've heard GREAT things about Blue Water RV Resort too. But we were not able to find availability to stay there, so it didn't make our list because we only ranked places we've actually stayed. Hopefully we can stay at Blue Water in the future! Happy travels to you!
Sorry but you missed the best campground, RV park I have ever been to and that includes years of camping across this country and Europe. It has everything and more. it is the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground. It is 1000 heavily wooded acres along the Suwannee River in Live Oak Florida. Free live music every weekend and huge music events throughout the year to include nationally known artists and bands. Horse, pool 20+ miles of trails, canoeing, restaurant, carfe’, golf cart rentals for trail riding, etc. It is clean and beautiful. I hate to advertise it because I con’t want it to become overcrowded. It is already hard to get one’s favorite spot. Especially during the festivals.
Hi thanks for watching and for sharing your experience! We have heard great things about Spirit of Suwanne Music Park, but we have never personally stayed there so we can't speak from our own experience. But we are very glad to hear how much you enjoyed it. Will definitely need to make time for a visit. Happy travels!
Thanks for watching, we're glad it was helpful. Yes, our "fur babies" are a top priority and we just love seeing them so happy and enjoying the beach!!! Happy travels to you all!
You are very welcome and thanks for watching! We appreciate knowing that it was helpful -- especially for our four-legged furry friends 😊 Happy travels!
Hi there thanks for watching! It really depends on how long you are staying and if you think it's worth it. They do also have cabins available if you don't want to bring your RV (you can also rent RVs from nearby companies and they will come and set it up for you at Ft Wilderness). For us, we had visited Fort Wilderness for years and stayed in their cabins when we lived on the West Coast and it was too far to drive our RV just for a 1 week visit. However, when we lived in Atlanta we would drive the 7ish hours to stay and it was worth it to us. And of course, once we went full-time in our RV we spent about a year exploring Florida so we visited Fort Wilderness more frequently because we were in the area. Hope this helps! - Josh & Liz
Thanks for watching and for the comment. That's wonderful to hear that you found it helpful. I know everyone has their own way of doing things, but sometimes just having something to get started can be helpful. Happy travels to you! - Liz
Oh that soundes like a GREAT way to spend Christmas!!! You will have so much fun. Hopefully it stays warmer down there. Travel safely and thanks for watching and the comment! - Liz & Josh
How much was the wireless device? Where I will be living may have a weak service. I will need this for school for my school work on the go. Please let me know? Thank you..
Hi Peter! Thanks for watching. That particular device was around $300 when I purchased it (I believe - but that was a few years ago). Then the data charges range around $60 per month. I hope that helps! - Liz
Yes, yes she does. She is living the dream of traveling all over the country exploring state parks, the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and the Gulf of Mexico. She loves adventures! Happy travels to you!
Thank you! Love the way you explained it all. Wish I had you as a teacher in school to learn financial health lol then maybe I wouldn't be a 30 year old woman still learning how to budget
Hi Emma - thank you SO much for watching and for the comment. I am glad to hear that you found it helpful. I know everyone is different and has their own ways of doing things, so hopefully you found some things you can use. All the best and happy travels to you!!! - ❤️ Liz
Hi Cheryl - Thank you SO much for watching and for the feedback. We really appreciate it and are happy to hear that we were able to clear up some confusion for you. Happy travels to you! - Liz & Josh
How do maintenance costs and availability differ? I'd imagine labor costs are higher with the different placement of the engine. I also wonder if you boondock much if there's a difference between getting a class C or class A getting back into the boonies.
You you were great in telling l am seated in a desert area town permanent right now but in RV wanting to do my novel l thought router and gateway T Mobile.
We chose class C for safety! We have three emergency egress doors. We also like the large sun visor the class C offers with its overhead bunk. Storage capacity between class C's and smaller class A's is negligible.
