My printer blue light is solid. Print out of my Information Report says I’m connected to Network A. I check my Wifi on my Mac PC and it says I’m on Network A. I open my HP Smart and I have two printer icons above both say UNAVAILABLE. I have uninstalled the software and it still returns the same. Tried set up/add a new printer. Pinter IP address is known will not connect. Doesn’t recognize my wifi network. Network for printer doesn’t match description but worked once. Now doesn’t accept password.
My error is device isn't available, (Whatever the hell that means??) which is iPhone(14). My other option I need a new Android because it still has my old number tied. Hopefully I get that solved this week.
Incompetent people in HP can put a simple instruction like this In their manual......I spent 2 hours trying to connect this crap until I saw your video..thank you very much
I recently replaced my router. Things went well until I wanted to print wirelessly to my HP Deskjet 2544 printer. HP online info was no help. Came across this on RU-vid. After 2 hours of fruitless trying my problems were resolved in minutes. The solid blue Wi-Fi was such a relief and pleasure to see. Many, many thanks.
Good video. HP Laserjet Pro M404dw On mine, you have to get a certain menu up on the printer, and then do that... but its not very intuitive. Anyway... thanks.
What brand CMOS 2032 batteries to people recommend that has the wires coming from it? As you can't just get a regular battery from the store. And can't find anyone who recommends a brand on the 2032 batteries that have wired leads. Specifically for HP laptop.
DO NOT INSTALL HP SMART APP. I purchased a OfficeJet Pro 8130e, The HP Smart App would always say it was not connected even though the printer was connected (the printer settings said it was connected, the HP Smart app said it wasn't). Tried both wifi and ethernet. HP Smart subscription 'would' save you $ if it worked. I signed up for $5 per month. NEVER got the printer to work. Cancelled subscription and bought 'regular' HP ink (for $70) as the HP Smart ink cartridges only work with subscription. My printer 'should' be working now...nope. HP HOLDS YOUR PRINTER HOSTAGE for a month....because guess what? ...you don't get to cancel your HP Smart subscription immediately. Oh no, .it goes into a cancellation 'process' that lasts up to a month. So now I have a dead printer until subscription process ends. Then and only then will I find out if the damn thing will work. buy an EPSON and save yourself from this hell. $300 bucks wasted. Also HP Smart app will continually monitor your printer....and seems extremely invasive on your privacy
