Wasted 8 hours trying to solve the problem, asked a number of so called experts and received confusing instructions. Found your video by chance, took your instructions, and in less than a minute, problem SOLVED. ABSOLUTELY GREAT and THANK YOU.
WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup, which is a wireless network security standard. My understanding is that when the WPS button if pressed, beware, because if you live in an apartment complex for example, your neighbor's next door Wi-Fi- device can easily gain access to your network as well, if the right timing and opportunity were to present itself. That WPS is to protect your system from intruders. I agree, HP is the worst with regard to customer assistance, but beware of the WPS or read up on it at least. I do agree though, HP is the worst for customer service, just awful...
OMFG!! This is NOWHERE to be found in any instructions on the HP site. I've had a meltdown over 2 hours trying to fix this issue and this was all I needed to do all along. Thank you, my hero!
Didn't work in the first place but 3 times it works!!! MAN YOU MADE MY DAY !!!!!! I was almost ready to kick and punch the printer and heading to get a new one until I found your video. You deserve my gratitude!!!
AFTER 2 HOURS of watching vids, using the HP support and looking through all the internet, your video litterly saved my printer. I was about to throw it to the garbage when I incountered your short video - and after few minutes it worked! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing that so crucial tip. you've done better than HP themselves.
Same here. Ridiculous that HP makes it so difficult. I wasted paper printing instructions that didn’t work just because HP wants to push their Smart (Stupid) App!
2 days and finally got my blue wifi light to stop blinking. You are first to say go to my router and hit a button. Now I am headed in the right direction. Thank you!!
Thank you sweet baby Jesus! I’m so glad I came across your video! I tried 3 diff reps/ AI assistants and they make no sense!!! Your video is 2 mins long and straight to the point. Thank you Sooooooo much!! 🙏 May your pillow always stay cool 🫶
It worked! I have a HP DeskJet 4100. I followed your directions however I had to press sinc on my NetGear59 and bravo - it worked! Thank you so much for all your help! ❤
The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system ru-vid.comUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
I just changed my router, and my printer wouldn't work.I spent three hours on the Internet trying to figure out how to reset it. Finally, you showed me how in just one minute. I am grateful to your channel and for your help, and i subscribed to your channel.
I recently replaced my router. Things went well until I wanted to print wirelessly to my HP Deskjet 2544 printer. HP online info was no help. Came across this on RU-vid. After 2 hours of fruitless trying my problems were resolved in minutes. The solid blue Wi-Fi was such a relief and pleasure to see. Many, many thanks.
Incompetent people in HP can put a simple instruction like this In their manual......I spent 2 hours trying to connect this crap until I saw your video..thank you very much
Let me add my thanks to the comment below...3hrs wasted on the HP site 10mins watching your video fixed the problem press blue button on printer press transmission button on router...fantastic...
This worked for me in 2024 for my Deskjet 2546R. I do recommend bringing the printer closer to the router. After it worked I put it back in my bedroom and it still worked. I was so close to throwing this printer out. I have had it since 2015.
Good Day, I tried 2 other videos before coming across your useful information. Thank you so much for this simple solution. I can proceed with my busy work day. Have a wonderful day this saved me so much time. I am smiling. 😃
Thanks man . This worked for me too. First I did a direct wifi but then I had to keep switching networks to print. Now I can print on my regular Bell one. Thank you. 😃👍
I think I'm going to have to abandon this HP product. It was working fine for a couple of months and then just stopped connecting. All indications show that everything is fine, but it won't print any document from my computer. It will print a test sheet, so I know the printer works, but the connection is missing. And, as mentioned before, the ink runs dry too quickly. Ready to change up! Thanks for your efforts. I just wish my outcome had been better.
I’m not sure if this will help anyone but if you’re having connectivity issues then check your WiFi settings. I couldn’t connect because my WiFi was WEP, I switched to WPA2 and everything worked flawlessly.
I did it twice and it worked!!! Solid blue light now 💙 I followed the vid and notice my wifi button got turned off. So i held it for 5 sec (my wifi went from blinking blue>off>back to blinking blue. Also the wifi bars on the display were blinking) Went and held WPS button for 1 sec. Came back, blue light blinked a few times then stay SOLID 💙 😍😍😍 Thanks so much for this vid!!! I've been trying to fix my parents' printer for almost 9 years now 😭
I tried this - the blue light next to the Wi-fi symbol is blue (i.e. not blinking) but there's a Wi-fi symbol on the panel with an exclamation mark next to it still. When I try to connect to my home Wi-fi via laptop, the printer (or something) refuses to believe that I have entered the correct Network key......
