Thank you. AMVs are still a thing although most of them mainly consist of fight scenes sped up without being timed to the lyrics or the music. I still need to listen to more of Grailknights. The other song I really like from them is Pumping Iron Power.
I'm still on and off about the new opening. The lyrics of Love & Justice are very appropriate for the message of Perfect Origin Arc but I would prefer it to be more tougher sounding.
In my opinion I would let the Anime stop on the end of the perfect Chojin arc. That way the Manga can wrap up the Time Chojin arc. Also I do want Sakigake to come back too. And I’m hoping Disloteck can make the OG Kinnikuman anime available to the USA and Sakigake too
I can't believe that Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc is taking a break until the start of 2025 because I thought the new series will keep going just like Yu Gi Oh, Shaman King 2021 and Precure series but I'm still hoping soon that Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc will be in english dubbed just like Ultimate Muscle: Kinnikuman Legacy.
Yup! We're almost there! I have 11 volumes. I remember reading the Viz Select versions back in the mid/late 90s (I had to get an adult to buy them for me 💀)Hopefully VIZ will release Fist of the Blue Sky. I've been reading them online and to say that series is entertaining would be an understatement. There's a hilarious contrast though lol
The modern style across the board these days is stark bright contrast. I call it sakura bleach, looks like it smells nice but also looks ike it's been doused in color killing chemicals
Yeah you might have to wait until 2029 for that. I think shuesia has the rights to it? Could be wrong but then again. BTW had no idea about fist of the blue sky until I was looking up PPPN produced anime and fist of the blue sky was one of the titles.
Started reading it recently and its a blast. Honestly at the beggining all i could think of is how RGG studios shouldve made a Blue Sky instead of a North Star game
It'll be a while before that happens. Takashi Shimada has tweeted interest in a reboot if Perfect Origin Arc was successful. But I wouldn't take it at face value & I doubt they would go backwards. I would like to see a reboot as I think it's feasible to make since the arcs are very short.
great video as always man, i think season 1 was really good for the most part, pacing kinda worries me for the future cours, manly because i don't know if they can wrap this up with the same amount of episodes and same amount of chapters per episode coverage they used for S1, they would either have to speed things up or increase the amount of episodes, but as far as the anime quality goes, it was pretty good overall, the brutality came across well, the art is fantastic, my only grip with it is the animation but more towards their priority. Like, it was overall solid for the most part, hell the last episode was amazing in that regard, but some moments in the fights had subpar animation and still images, like Black Hole's finisher, or Suguru's Furinkazan, while the character previews looked FANTASTIC for the most part, especially Black Hole's and Atlantis, so i wonder if they are pushing most of the budget to THAT instead of the fights itself... if that's the case... i don't really agree with that move at all, as much as i like the clips, but overall i'm fine with it, i just think it has room for improvements for the next cours, especially if we get to the most prominent fights in the arc
So far my biggest issue is the lighting. The colors look muted or washed out in some cases. And in other times things look too bright that it obscures the image. Looking back at it, I think the anime is trying to replicate those real light sources back when animation cels were used. The results have been mixed. I also agree that the fluid animation seems to be placed heavily on the promos & the actual anime artstyle is different from those segments. Compared to the original anime, POA is definitely much better animated. Although I also don't know how well modern fast paced animation would look on wrestling moves that depict weight via slams. There's also the need of showing two entire muscular bodies moving together. So I don't think it needs to be look something like Jujutsu Kaisen. I guess the best way I can compare it is resorting to Godzilla Destroy All Monsters as an example. None of those characters play fast like DBFZ, Marvel Vs Capcom or Smash but I think the slow yet heavy mobility works for Godzilla. But I also feel there's definitely room for improvement. Some techniques don't quite deliver the impact I imagined such as The Eight Men Black Hole Kick lacks a little punch when compared to the spinning headbutt Black Hole does soon after. It seems to be case by case because The Atlantis segment against Kinnikuman look great as brief as it was. Same goes for the Muscle Spark. I'm hoping this is a case where Pro IG is figuring things out much like David Pro did with JoJo 2012. It was quite a jump they did from Phantom Blood & Battle Tendency to the very detailed Stardust Crusaders. I'm certain by the time we get to the Perfect Origin we'll see changes. Without a doubt they'll make the two final fights with Kinnikuman & Akuma Shogun look the best.
Just had a look at next year for the hypothetical release for season 2 and I think we might get 13 or 14 episodes depending on which week in January it comes back. March has 5 Mondays so perhaps 13. Then again I am just going off how the first season was released. Just don't get too excited.
We don't know if Toei is involved with this new project. Although I'm just as concerned that Toei doesn't seem to have any event planned for the 1983 anime's 40th anniversary.
The momentum is needed for Kinnikuman to be a continuous success for the new age of the audience, despite how we older gen are used for the long wait 🥲
I think that the most likely direction for the Kinnikuman manga to take after the Time Chojin arc is done is an arc focused on the Chojin ascending to godhood. The idea of Chojin surpassing the gods has been a recurring theme, and since The One's whole plan is to have worthy Chojin replace unworthy gods I can see an arc which essentially amounts to a big wrestling tournament (because of course this matter is going to be decided by wrestling) in Heaven with the winner being granted godhood.
Kinnkugod seems like a possibility. It never really occurred to me that the characters could actually ascend. My mind was always focused on the threat or hoping for a character to win their fight. I guess I sort of had the journey over the destination when I read the modern Kinnikuman.
@@THEAnimeHERO Yes. Not fully but beyond the first arcs that were more gag than serious. Perhaps it is a wrong choice of soundtrack and pacing that feels really off from the older content, and inferior.
That part of the video with all sorts of people feeling excited watching the anime made my day! It put a big smile in my face. Thank you! As for how the manga can continue after the time chojin arc...Remember when Satan used to be the main threat? I know he was humiliated by Justice Man last time, but he wasnt at full power, and we still need to learn his origin. I remember they vaguely hinted at Satan being a former God, and I would love to learn more!
I was trying to remember if Satan was a Chojin God or not. Meanwhile the 5 Evil Gods are still at work in the current stuff. There's was a few other reactions that I found but I didn't want to overload the slight distraction.
