Good looking guy, nice voice. As for "that", they'll sale tickets alright. The tumbling stuff... cheesy. P. S.: nudes in opera. People should know some librettos scream for nude scenes; do please READ AND LEARN. The opening scene in Rigoletto is a stylised orgy. Act III Sanson & Dalila is a baccanale. And so on... Conservative audiences offen don't understand a word of what is sang on stage. However this particular male strip thing seems gratuitous: is he taking a shower? Good for him.
I know Romanovsky from Rossini productions in Pesaro but he was also splendid Don Carlos in Lyon. Last time I wanted to see him during first night of Rossini's Otello in Liege ended up right after few bars of his first aria due to severe illness. But he is really hot ;)
Both men have impressive top notes and impressive florid facilities. However, singing next to Romanovsky's fuller tenor sound makes Florez's voice sound even more thin, nasal, and strident. Just my opinion.
Never seen nudity, much less male nudity, in an opera before! Was this done specifically to show off this tenor's body (in which case this is the wrong venue for it!) or other tenors do it in this aria too? Needless to say, most tenors are well advised to keep their clothes on as they don't have the physiques for nudity, lol.
Jajajajaj...la gazmoñería y la pacatería puritana con ataque...será que a muchos les ha picado más allá del orto de pura envidia?...si la escena lo requiere, me parece muy bien, por otra parte, no cualquier tenor puede hacer esa escena, se necesitan muchos elementos reunidos en un solo intérprete...wtfck , el tío lo ha hecho muy bien , lo demás es envidia, mala leche y prostatitis en franco arrebato de frustración. Las polillas hacen estragos.

Tanti anni fa, lessi un'intervista dove la Maestra Devia, che ho l'onore di conoscere personalmente, dichiarava la Sua perplessità ad affrontare il ruolo di Norma. . .forse, lo penso io, per i precedenti illustri che noi Tutti (Melomani) ben conoscono e apprezzano. Poi debuttò, trionfando come Suo solito! E per fortuna visto che, secondo me, è diventata la "Norma di riferimento" dei nostri tempi. Complimenti, incondizionata stima, immenso affetto e gratitudine per le emozioni che ci ha trasmesso con la Sua incomparabile arte!
Nice Pianissimo! Well, proportioned physic, he probably works out or limits food intake. I know he loves to swim - in the sea. However, during this scene doesn't his feet get dirty. Stage floor looks uncomfortable. Probably showers afterwards but he must return to ACT 3 in RIGOLETTO.
Great duo between Romanovsky and Florez. Florez has those unmistakable resounding Rossini Hugh Notes that made him an instant Superstar! Love Romanocsky as well! What a tremendous voice! Bravi a tutti e due! Rossini was so wrong (speaking of his own music) that IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA was the only true worthy operaa of note he ever wrote. I adore every one of his 36 operas whether COMIC works or DRAMATIC works.
