You obviously sang with her to know how kind she was. For me it was with Hawaii Opera Theatre. She was the total package. wasn't she?.....So professional and delightful at the same time with a wicked sense of humor. We did Ariadne auf Naxos in Honolulu. Her Zerbinetta was flawless. I used to love hearing her warm up. She did.just a little bit vocally but warmed up mostly at the piano. She would play these excruciatingly difficult Beethoven Ballads...it seemed to keep her relaxed. I would have been a wreck trying to play one measure of those fiendish works. Ha! Anyway, glad you had the opportunity to work with her. She was a gem.
