I am moving to the next stage of quilting- quilting my own quilts!! I do not have the room nor the funds to afford a long arm machine- so this looks like a very viable solution!! I am really liking this invention and it's affordability!! Thank you.
I started quilting Becaus I had an accident and lost the use of my legs. Yes quilting is a great hobby for some one in a chair! However there are vary few male quilters on the net and fewer yet products for those of us in a wheelchair I wish a company would design quilting products for those of us in a chair!!
It's 2024. I have the old wood rail frame in a box which I bought at a Guild auction. The directions are on VHS tape, so I'm glad to find this video! Can't wait to get started using it.
Three years after my last comment, I’m finally back to working on my quilt top. No other projects, just wasn’t able to sew for a myriad of reasons. I purchased templates to add more fabrics to the kit I purchased and have used all your video tips. I seriously needed this instruction to get going again on this super-interesting design which will hang in my living room. Thank you!
I am mesmerized by your video, your story, your creation, and your soothing knowledge, a pure joy. I don't think I'll ever make a pattern as beautiful as yours and others on RU-vid. Thank you
I do sewing projects and machine embroidery currently, but when I venture into quilting THIS frame will be the one to get! I like that it can be disassembled and stored compactly verses needing an entire room for a quilt frame! John Flynn is a genius!😁
from Gerry- I just received my frame and 72" rods. I will put it together this afternoon- 8 years after your video! I will write back in a few days to let you know how it all goes. This is a great video and easy to understand. Thanks and God bless.
It's soooo great. Such a great idea! Giving your quilt away for quilting, it will cost you so much money! By the way, your quilttop is a great colour mixing for "storm at the sea". Thanks a lot for this great idea!
Thanks for video tutorial, it helps a lot. I’ve had my kit for a few years and decided it is time for to tackle it. I like your stiletto, is it available on your website?
I was able to buy one of your quilt frames through a local quilting group. I am looking forward to using it, been busy as it is gardening season too. I am still trying to learn free motion quilting, so hoping I will do better at that soon, or can I use a walkingn foot with it?
Just got mine ...It took me about 1 hrs to put it together and load my first piece.. Wow it works!!!! Awesome This man is a genius! Thank you I give this a 10 out of 10
