My TOP LEFT BURNER- (GE PROFILE slide-in glass top 2006)- stays WARM, in the OFF position & never used. THE 2nd from left knob switch, which controls that burner, only has the following TERMINAL labels: (6) *BLUE COLOUR code under “EGO” Top- 2x under P1 Right- 2 Bottom Rt- P2 Bottom- PILOT Left- 4 The indicator light for stove top lights/stays ON…even though that burner is never used. *Just noticed! An empty pot was over it. I can get the light to turn OFF, only if I fully rotated the dial clockwise back to OFF. Few secs/minutes later…it’s “turned itself” back ON & same burner is warming. This burner/its wires -are linked to the first dial which controls the single/double burners located below the faulty one, (so you can put a long pan on there). *Not sure if that switch is involved or not. It operates the single/dbl without issue. All other burners work properly, far as I can tell. So, how to test this PILOT SWITCH? Or?😩 Wondering if I can take off those wires & not replace switch? Safe? I don’t have squared caps to cap the ends- I’d have to remove the clips to cap bare wires or heavily electrical tape?, but my concern is the linkage to other dials. Don’t want a fire here.

I am well aware that's how to change the temp... but how do I unprogram it?... I just moved in this new apartment N I'm always freezing cuz the previous tenants set it to 69... So when I change it to 72 as soon as the hour changes it goes back to 69... Someone plz help! 🥶

Thank you! After a power outage (and my batteries died) when I went to reset I forgot about the hold button. Without that the word "day" kept flashing and my temp setting, after a while, returned to a previous or default. Problem solved, so thanks.

wow. My electric bill on my new apartment skyrocketed and I turned off the AC while I were out. I tried to turn it back on, it won't cool, now my room is at 91 for 3 days. Thank you. The engineer who designed this model should go to jail. No wonder other apartments advertise that they use Nest thermostats or any other smart devices.

I've tried that code. Had the same exact code, changed out my sensor, changed out my burner, and reset the system and tried using this code. But it is not working for me. I've swapped many sensors to just see. But none are workong

I am not able to get into the diagnosis mode by pressing 3 non-power keys. The reason is that when the power plug is in, the washer makes the sound of washing. it does not accept the press made.

I've got the same type, saying thermal temperature cuttoff (ECO) with a green at the start and 3 yellows at the end. Fan is running, but no hot water. Anything I can do to fix it?
