Daily is good for hot periods especially is its grass sown in the same year. misting in the heat of the day is also a good tactic used on golf courses. If the temp are not too hot then every other days is ok for optimal results. Any dormancy / browning is a failure to understand how to water the lawn. It should never occur.
Nice...I live in florida and my sprinklers in the front of the house have not been working for a few months. I have dried st. augustine, wondering if this process will bring it back?
Suppose I have centipede mixed with st Augustine grass … suppose I want only St Augustine grass. Is there a strategy whereby the St Augustine will dominate with some lawn care plan ?
Good to do very early and late in the growing season when going in and out of winter. Very stupid to do in the summer. Of course that doesn’t stop a lot of yard guys that ruin their customers lawns since they only water twice a week if that.
I did same thing after I dethatched, and I see more weeds than grass. Scary I hope this helps. Even after dethatching there was just too much dead grass. So I mowed and bagged on lowest setting. Thanks for video
I know I didn’t say it because it had importance what I meant by that was when I dethatched, it wasn’t enough to get rid of the dead grass and weeds , that’s why I scalped.
Hey man, I’ve got a section of st Augustine in my front yard it will grow lush and thick and after about a month, it starts to thin out and then die. We have re-sod it three times. There’s a lot of shade cover in our entire front yard but is there anything I can do to help this lawn make it?
