Hey just installed a 5.3 on my gokart sofar i just got the engine on and everything but wondering how do u attach the centrifugal clutch to the engine 🤔 thanks lmk
Now, if I run into anything the fuel tank should absorb some of the impact while liberally spraying the driver with gasoline which will be ignited by the adjacent, short-circuited battery...
Interesting that you get such good straight line traction out of what is absolutely designed to be a circuit tyre. Good to know. I've run similar on a few cars, but they struggled with high horsepower in a straight line in the one case I had that. :-)
@ClearWater7.62 I think he meant the centrifugal clutch lol I'm recently working on an old taotao gokart that originally had a 125 gokart motor I already extended the frame think I'm gonna have to relocate the rear axle back more but other than that I've got the frame extended working on installing a 53 v8 in the next month or so
Great video Guys! I did that same trip 3 years ago in a big U`Hall towing a trailer with my 61 bug. I have since sold the bug and now have a 73 Squareback. I have not met many VW folks in Ohio. Im in Dayton, where you guys in Ohio?
We had a square back in Germany..same color with a white top. 1965. Brought it back to the states and I took my driver's test in it on my 16th birthday. A year later, my dad wrecked it. I remember when it was brand new and riding in it in Germany. My dad and I picked it up in New York and then he retired out of the army that same day and we left Fort Hamilton and drove back to Michigan. I felt like my life was over but It sure felt good to be back in the states regardless. After my dad are wrecked it, he bought a souped up 64 Chevy so I didn't miss it for decades. Now I want it back. Let me know when the novelty wears off. I still have the military USA license plates from Germany with insect guts on the front one from the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Turnpikes. If you ever sell it, MUST go to me.
me too i wish we could see more. problem is i think he wants to keep living haha. if a 250cc 2 stroke can get up to 150mph on superkarts i genuinley think the top speed of this would be rediculous
Nice work on the whole job! I did a beam on a T3 however I did it with a front horn from a T1. It set back into the tunnel about 12" and welded All around. Works beautifully. Nice work dude
Couldnt you make the bag placement on the other side of the beam and the top to be stationary? Make the bottom drop when you air up and then you wouldn’t have to cut the tank…
Fantastic !!!. I had a Squareback, great car ... Used to cruse on the open road at 70mph. Here in Australia we never got the Fuel Injection so it was dual Carb's. Still made plenty of power.
