This game and in particular this last mission is what we would have got if everyone hadn't shit all over Terminator: Salvation and they had actually concluded the planned trilogy. Salvation wasn't perfect but it was much better than the made by committee, approved by focus groups, Hollywood excrement that came after it. People just didn't seem to be happy that they didn't get the future war exactly as portrayed in T2 which we would have eventually got in the 3rd part of the trilogy, plasma weapons and all. "the future’s not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves” Well this is the future we collectively chose.
This is what keeps the video game Industry alive. It's not the latest computer parts; it's compelling stories and gameplay that drives it. As an author, I can see why so many people have praised this game. It says what Hollywood couldn't make the movies say.
Literally both sides of the war: 'Okay so, the war is over, but uhh... What do we do about the meteors? They're still falling, and both Stonehenge and Megalith are inoperable, so... What do we do now?'
The greatest terminator game ever and the true prequel we never got. When this kicked in the game and you make that final charge with the Terminator tank, OMG, hairs on the back of my neck the greatest gaming experience I have ever had thank you Tayon.
Rex Rex tremendae Majestatis Qui salvandos salvas gratis Salva me, fons pietatis Amidst the blue skies, a link from past to future. The sheltering wings of the protector... É de arrepiar essa introdução! Melhor Ace Combat que joguei. Saudade! Sou curioso para ver a tradução do discurso que é realizado no hangar.
What sad about this mission is that all the Yellows are just kids. They used the name for propaganda purposes, but as you listen to them they constantly break Opsec, they dont really use callsigns and easily panic as you shoot them down.
Literally this segment could not have been more of a fan’s dream and respectful to the series, and then they went and threw in an allied reprogrammed HK Tank. Incredible.
Just a reminder in Ace Combat 4's Final Mission, Megalith Agnus Dei is YOUR theme. *You are Mobius 1... AKA Plane Jesus. *You are the world's prayer's for Salvation made manifest. *You are the Light of ISAF, come to cleanse the world. *You have come grant eternal rest to the a-holes responsible for the war. *You are here to deliver the world from their evil, and Apocalypse they dare restart.
It’s almost like Each and Every Ace Combat Game is a STAND-ALONE Because There’s no “To be Continued” or Cliffhanger or Mention of a Direct Sequel Story Wise ! Each one is like a Grand Epic That’s Complete 🤷♂️
This game was awesome, it fit in perfectly and it felt like it should have the movie that so many fans never got, out of all the Terminator movies three of them were good and this should have been the last installment to the movie series, this should have been the 4th movie not salvation
I dont care what any "Critic" says, this was HANDS DOWN the best Terminator game of all time and it handled the lore and future war perfectly. Who cares if its an "average FPS". Plus these same game critics gave the HORRIFIC Battlefield 2042 a 7/10 average (which did the OPPOSITE of Terminator Resistance and went against everything fans were asking for). I just hope the game devs know how much us Terminator fans appreciated their game
I kept thinking if I went faster, fought harder, then maybe, just MAYBE I could prevent the T1-T2 cycle happening again as John said when the TDE was being prepped. Ugh...loved this finale, so epic!
