Bria, your videos are so diverse! I love the way you can be on a farm with animals in one video and then out partying with your girls in another! You live a full life and it is beautiful! Keep making other smile and living on purpose ❤
Wow! I really appreciate your kind words. I strive to show a realistic genuine lifestyle. Everyday is different, and I thank God for the experience and ability to share my story.
I completely understand the feeling. I think its important to create a balanced relationship with money and bills. They are not going anywhere so you might as well work hard AND play hard.
My bf and I are currently living in our car. Honestly, it’s nice. I want a fur baby, I just want to know how to take care of it in my car w/o the kitty litter being stinky. Also car gadgets for better sleep yk :)
I have a ton of resources in my nomad life playlist so feel free to go down the rabbit hole! In regard to the kitty you just need to keep up with cleanliness there is no way around it. ru-vid.com/group/PLx2_qFKuNW8QDCwH4FUD7fk8q7jycdUwu&si=p3w1l06-OXN7fhEw
Silent watcher 👋🏾 I have your "Run, run" song on my Manifest playlist on Spotify. I listen to it AT LEAST once a day. Its just a feel good song..LOVE it!
Hey! I know you no longer live the car camping lifestyle. But I’m considering moving back to the us and moving to a bigger city where rent is insane. I have two cats. I know you had a work from home job. But do you have any advice on what to do to leave the pets in the car while you work? I want to keep them safe, and ultimately it’s my main priority.
I understand. Car life is definitely a sacrifice and you have to keep that in mind when it comes to your pets. Eventually i let my cat stay with family while i explored but If you will be leaving the car to work then make sure the car is set up for them to be okay. Park in a safe shaded spot, have a back up battery that you can run fans on to keep the air circulating maybe crack the windows and use black out window covers to avoid unwanted attention. Maybe add a cat water fountain and some comfy areas for them to relax. I believe they will be okay as long as you are okay.
Hey Bria. This was a cool vlog. I went to NYC back in the early 1990's. I flew there just to go to a record store in Times Square. I was in NYC for only half the day. I just don't like the feel of the big city. I love the woods, lakes, and streams. Can't wait for the next vlog. 5:40
I felt the same! I love being connected to nature so the concrete jungle was a challenge for me. I learned more about myself and confirmed some things i already knew as well. Thanks for watching!
I would get some spray foam and all around the edges where there is light coming in, spray it and then shave it off so it's not bubbley looking. On those vents I would glue some screen and then silicone every screw area. Because I would be wanting to keep Spiders and Those flying Roaches out. Also I would lay down some cement blocks for a walk way to try to keep from tracking so much dirt and grass in. ❤
This is a great option to save money and travel the country! People can definitely lower their expenses once the you have a paid for car the you have basically eliminated housing cost. The money saved can be invested or used to pay down debts.
EXACTLY! That is literally the point I wanted people to take away from this. You dont have to wait until there are financial struggles. You can make a conscience decision today to live alternatively in order to save and change your lifestyle. I went from living alone working a 9-5 job I hated to choosing car life, and now I am a passionate Middle school Counselor and an English teacher in Thailand. If it can work for me it can work for anyone.
Its not necessarily unlimited but I have the highest amount available for my phone plan as well as back up hotspot on my tablet. Ive never had an issue using my hotspot for work purposes only, but when I could, I would also connect to wifi.
Im in ❤ with u i wish we could meet and why im crazy about cause of ur strength to just jump out and travel all over keep doing what ur doing 💪🙏@bria-maine
Currently going through this now. God got me tho. It's a learning experience and motivation. Motivation to consistently budget and save. Stan's your ground...don't go partying with friends who still live at home or even if they not and living with a boyfriend/ husband..everybody don't spend money the same. I had a single friend living with her parents and always called me to go out and I realized I have different priorities. I was struggling to pay for rent, food, car repairs etc. The necessities! Don't keep up with the Jones. People can't really on got assistance and can't be poor forever. It's now going to the foreigners and aliens! Then why would you want to. There is more than one way to budget and save, we just have to find which one is best for ourselves and family! And Kamala going to have us going thru the same thing. The only reason i will vote for Trump just so he can put the wall up and kerp ppl out. Other than that no
Much love briski.glad to see your still enjoying yourself traveling.i took my first flight to California a couple weeks ago it was nice.stay safe & keep doing you💯🧡
My cat is an outdoor cat and stays at my families home while i worked. I used to take her on trips and when i did i utilized my backup battery and high powered fan to keep her as well as myself cool.
El Salvador is nice now because the gangs and violence is disappearing thanks to the great leadership of the honorable president Bukele. This may not be the case in other Latin American countries where corruption and violence is the name of the game.
I'm gonna start living in my car in two or 3 days. And I wanna bring my cat. I work 8 hours a day and idk what to do with him during that time..any suggestions?
Consider a family or friend if possible to watch the cat while you work. I worked from home so if you will physically be away maybe its best to not leave the cat in the vehicle.
I'm obsessed with tiny homes...sheds..army trucks n rvs... I want to build 2 for my kids ..myself n bestie... so thank u for this video... my future goals
I'm facing homelessness. I have a car. With a car payment, and I have an older SUV. Which needs a new muffler. I was hoping I could trade both in, for a van or used motorhome but bc I owe on my car, it doesn't give me much to work with even tho i would get a good amount for my car. It equals what I owe for the most part maybe a couple thousand more... but I only am seeing campers I can afford. And I don't have enough to tow a camper with on my vehicles. Unless it was a very very small like tear drop camper and I don't know wanna do that, it would be a waste of money I wish I had known things were going to go the way they did. I was expecting to receive an inheritance, I found out that the executor did some really shady crap. Which I can prove. But I need a lawyer to do so. And don't have the money for a lawyer. Which they know. So they know I can't do anything at all. I was depending on that money to secure stable housing, they knew that, and told me too bad. Not their problem. I was shocked. This is someone I trusted all my life. With my life. Anyway, idk. No clue what's in store for me. It's really hard when there's nobody to support you- emotionally, I don't mean financially although knowing when you're THAT desperate, and it's not my fault..... like how do you just turn your back on someone who walked down me the aisle. A father figure. But apparently he hated me his whole life. He made that very clear. I just feel like nobody wants me around. Bc they don't. So I just wanna be alone get a dog, and go. Pray a miracle happens so I can live in some sort of motorhome. I've been begging builders I know to start buying land and build tiny homes. My cousin does modular construction and he said he's looking into some things. So I get all you're saying. I'd love to have a tiny home I could tow, then place stationary IF I DECIDED TO. I don't know how I'm gonna find anything- for all the reasons you said about when you started looking for a van. But I have no support system. And I'm trying to break my finance and find something to live in off a wing and a prayer.
Thank you for taking the time to share your story with me. Its not often that you find transparent influencers. I know I was blessed to have support in my alternative lifestyle journey, and I know it can be even more difficult otherwise. I think the main importance is to focus on your goals. Is it financial freedom? If so I would recommend utilizing the resources you currently have like the SUV that needs some attention. You can convert it into a camper and hit the road or stack money while you work. As far as your car, if you have intentions to own it then I would focus on paying it off asap. Thats what I did. I paid off my car note and then lived in the car virtually rent free and saved money for travel and to pay down credit card debt quickly. Now that my car is an asset, I can sell it when the time is right and I need the cash. Having a higher credit score and access to credit line will allow you the freedom to make more living decisions that can be financially addressed later. If you do not intend to own the car, or have desires for a different car, then I would sell it. Use the money to pay debt, finance new ventures like a business, or invest in yourself. I am sad to hear of your issues with your family, but I am a proud advocate of "YOU CAME IN THIS WORLD ALONE, AND YOU WILL LEAVE IT ALONE." (Except for twins, but even then one baby comes out first! LOL) Your lifestyle and happiness is up to you, and no one can take that away from you. Its our greatest gift IMO. I can create the life I want to live. As someone who is not that close with my family, trust me, I understand how it can be. Focus on self development and the inner work that will identify the lifestyle you want. From there every step you take should be to reach that goal. Use nomad life / alternative living to push you in the right direction. Stay FOCUSED. you got this!
