Is it okay not to go with the group after the tour?

South Korea is definitely a beautiful country. I stayed there for a week a few years ago and journeyed through the city, towns, nature, and even hiked hours to a temple to pray. I wore my natural hair out and had some type of radio host take pictures and suprisingly got a few compliments in the midst of curious stares. I met a friend who came out to see me in America (Cali!) the following year. He came a couple of times actually. We had a cute "will they, wont they" type of friendship and it was so cute. The most romantic thing we did was hold hands. We were both a bit shy and afraid of eachother romantically, but friendshipwise we were so good and could talk for hours and teach eachother words in our native tongues. It was obvious we were crushing on eachother to others and ourselves. I was supposed to go fly back to South Korea but got scared of our different cultures and didnt want to be foolish (his parents expected him to date Korean girls, which i honestly understand). He met my parents, they didnt really care who dated, though we were not dating. Anyhow, he now has a wife and child and I have mine. When I had instagram, we'd still watch and like eachothers stories no matter what. I do wish i wouldve went though, not because it would've changed our outcomes but just because I always regret not being brave. I love how brave you are out there alone journeying through Asia. Keep up your lifestyle. You are inspiring others and we are living vicariously through you! (But no pressure, live your life how it fulfills you!)
