11.59 Did you know that the leaves of the flower growing next to the water is for to a herb that can be use to get the feet tiredness ease if you walk to much and would get tired feet. and it is right next to the clean water so if any harm can wash it and use it as a healing for the feet. I think but not sure they used it in the early days when the shoes was not so comfirtable.

I just googled them and mainly visited the website of the huts or some external websites that had info about them. I managed to create a list with that info, but I have no idea where it is now
Awesome silent hiking video of Madeira! So nice to see the island from your perspective. We have lived on Madeira for 7 months in 2020 & 2021, but never did a multi day hike. Camping in the mountains of Madeira must have been such a calming experience :)
Hello Yens, thank you for another great video. I think you captured the beauty of this wonderful island very well. If I may, just one thing: you clearly had a walking partner, but (except for 2 shots) she was only visible at breaks or camp, not walking there with you, at least not story-wise. It prevented me from being immersed. I kept asking myself 'where did she come from, is she going to be back at the next camp?' Hope you get what I mean. Looking forward to your next one!
I was at Madeira a few year ago and man, it’s really a paradise. Warm yet very green. A place I could retire, away from the business of the city. Thanks for showing these beautiful places. Definitely need to come back at some point in my life to do more of the hikes.
Thank you for the beautifully filmed video, Yens 😍 I fell in love with Madeira's green nature many decades ago. My daughters were then quite young, but with suitable speed for them, we did many levada walks. Our favourite one was from Portela to Ribeiro Frio.

Unreal! Amazing video, thanks for sharing! You’ve officially inspired me to get into film making. Just bought some equipment and started filming my hikes. Hey, thank you! My camera was always set on 25 fps . My drone at 24 fps, so it shouldn't be noticeable. The video got exported at 24 fps. I did notice that my sd card from the drone was slow as that might be the reason my drone shots drop frames. I did buy a new faster sd card since yssterday
@@YensBastiaens Just curious, but do you see any stutters at 12:13 - 12:34, specifically looking at yourself walking? If not, it really is just on my end. Might also be my 165hz VRR screen now that I think about it, haha.
For me it only drops frames for the clip around 12:40. It could be RU-vid or davinci resolve struggling to export at that moment. I didn't notice when checking after the export though 😅
