I provide lots of tips and strategy's that will improve your gameplay experience for the games that I cover and do everything possible in the game to 100% it (I get all of the achievements / Trophies). I also work on guides, and sometimes challenges.
My 100% walkthroughs will always be played on the hardest difficulty available at the start of the game because I like challenging myself and I also want to make sure that I am able to help everyone regardless of the difficulty they choose to play on. Selecting the highest difficulty setting will help to ensure that I meet this goal.

Splasher <rare steal frag grenade ==> armor break> Sanctury Keeper fight: (it is a troll) 1> Rikka mix (hazardous shell or calamity bomb) to poison/blind it (Wakka dark buster or Lulu bio) [Grenade + map][lvl 1 + frag grenade/hypello potion/musk] 2> slowstrike <rare steal 30x gold hourglass from nidhogg> (cast reflect first) 3> full break (Auron banishing blade or Wakka status reels) 4> threaten (Auron) 1 free turn. 5> (hyper) mighty g [Rikku] or mighty guard [Kimahri] after hastega [Tidus] to get an edge. Armor <dark/silence/sleep/confuse> & [curse] too bad there is no protection so holy water/dispel it. Attacks with photon wings (debuffs), attack x2, mana breath (kills aeons), curaga x2 (cast reflect on it to prevent heals/haste).

Seymour Flux fight: [flare & zombie + full-life combo] (Prep work will help) 1> zombie (ward/proof) armor in preparation for Yunalesca fight hint hint! (Lance of atrophy) 2> (hyper) mighty g (Rikku mix) or mighty guard (Kimahri) is very helpful after you do what is required first! This protect you versus (cross cleave ==> physical damage & total annihilation ==> magical damage) counterattacks To do list: 3> silence/poison him using (Rikku mix) hazardous shell/calamity bomb (bio and silence buster <for 1 turn> can help)==> (grenade + map) or (lvl 1 key + musk/hypello potion) 4> cast osmose on mortivessel (512 mp) to make it a useless paperweight and Seymour Flux (512 mp) if you like. Again, he has phases where he become dangerous, so poisoning him and watch him die is best while stealing his loot/mp.
8:00 Wantz is the last shop before Yunalesca/airship acquired and HE IS REQUIRED if you want an opportunity for 4-slot (4 empty) gear for customization into epic gear later (Macalania Woods near Thunder Plains). Talk to Mika at Bevelle and Wantz will be waiting for you upon your return to the woods by airship.
Yojimbo starts his "bid" at 250,000 and eventually asked for 205,000. Offer half + 1 and then pay ~180 - 200k to be safe/economical. Choose the third option to raise his affection with you at the start (zanmato probability%). Also save after each use of wakizashi/zanmato because his affection has increased... no joke! If you pay him 3x what he offers (get 2x teleport spheres as bonus).
Biran/Yenke fight: (bully/mage) Biran has (thrust kick, self-destruct, doom, mighty guard) skills, (ice/lightning lvl 1), berserk (Yenke's death) Yenke has (fire breath, aqua breath, stone breath, white wind) skills, haste (Biran's death) Full break/demi are useful. I steal from them, while using overdrive relative to their configuration: Together> aqua breath Pincer attack> fire breath **Cast shell/protect/nulall with "the learned" mighty guard but cast regen/haste as a priority at the beginning.** Oh, use lancet only after they use a desired skill to learn: (doom for free) mighty guard, white wind (both at low hp.) Preface (their stats change in a direct relationship with Kimahri's, so overleveling is irrelevant/for comfort only
Defender X fight more simple mechanics: 1> darkness (high resistance) is a good start because it is non-magical, but not needed if you do what is required! 2> armor/mental break it using Wakka (status reels) or Auron (banishing blade) to increase your damage to it. 3> hastega on party, provoke (very underrated/under-appreciated skill) with Tidus, cast protect/regen on him as well. Please note: haymaker is a %-based attack like "demi", so no chance of death. Kill it in your leisure. Oh, never switch out Tidus... after he provokes... 😃
Please, read if you want celestrial weapons: you "can" have (3) at this point of the game Tidus, Yuna, and Kimahri (others require airship first because they are locked before Guadosalom and celestrial mirror is found after the story event: YOU ARE A TRAITOR) from Calm Lands & Thunder Plains.
Well done on the speedrun One thing i learnt about FoV in RoN: Higher FoV allows me to see more, but I can't aim. A lower FoV allows me to aim better and do headshots easier Fyi, I did a S+ rank solo taser run for RoN lately
Nice job with the S+ Rank, Jay! I wish RON made that an official rank because it's fun to do unofficially. Perfect S-Rank games without taking damage are the true test of skill in this game now IMO. As for the aiming difference between higher and lower FOV I can kind of see why some people will struggle with aiming playing on higher FOVs but if you take time to really get use to it than it will be pretty normal. I think there's far greater advantages with higher FOV than playing on lower FOV. Improving your AIM can always be practiced, but having the advantages that high FOV gives you is something that you will only ever have playing in high FOV.
@@Zaeld I agree with your take on FoV. If it's Doom Eternal, Trepang2 or any boomer shooters/fast paced shooters, I would prefer to play with High FoV But for tactical shooters like RoN, it's a lower FoV Also, I was thinking of the Chief Inspector rank from SWAT4 when you spoke about the S+ rank as an official rank
@@Jayalen correct me if I'm wrong because it's been a long time but I'm pretty sure you needed to take no damage (no officers injured) to get the highest rank/score in swat. I'm surprised RON doesn't have that as well because they easily can have it by just simply adding S+ Rank. SInce RON seems to be heavily inspired by Swat and considered a successor to it than it would make sense to also add it to their game.
@@Zaeld that's true for SWAT4 As for RoN, the S Rank during Early Access use to include no damage until players feedback about the "John Wick" suspect AI. Then they removed it

I was thinking of waiting, but now I know it can't wait. Belgemine is unsent summoner who tests Yuna's skills. To keep it short, learn what she is trying to teach you. There is (3) types of aeons: (elemental, non-elemental, and special) and the celestrial weapon owners who buff their ability. 1> Ifrit, Shiva, Ixion, (Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri) ==> fire, ice, lightning 2> Valefor, Bahamut (Yuna, None) ==> evasive to land foes, hybrid non-elemental 3> Yojimbo, Anima, Magis Sister (Auron, None, None) ==> no magic/mercenary, death, atk/tank/healer (delta, debuffs) Hence the stats are adjustable after getting key items and skills/spells/special abilities can be learned by all (exceptions: Yojimbo, sisters) Try to learn abilities as soon as possible (haste/protect/shell, etc.) because they help give an edge in fights/monster arena/duels with "B". Zanmato can be resisted (lower % to activate) but is an epic/un-blockable attack -> removing the foe (cheese!) With a cost ($). Oblivion hit multiple times... physically (pain is magical) defend accordingly. Delta attack is uber damage (#) but they have queued attack ai. There is obvious advantages in the use of each. She is trying to teach this... and required abilities they should learn!
As a side note, the strongest attack a foe can have: (any or all are annoying and requires pre-fight prep) 1] dispel attack ==> removes non-gear customized buffs (haste, protect, shell, regen, reflect, AUTO-LIFE) 2] aoe damage prevents auto-phoenix from saving you from the party death (requiring an "aeon meat shield") 3] curse (overdrive is no-bueno)
I might try to put in some time to see if it's possible to get this map down to 8 minutes or less with max FOV but I haven't been playing ready or not much. I just played today for a short amount of time. I've been kind of burnt out on the game. Hopefully I can find something about the game that can give me a spark to play it more serious again and something that can make for an interesting challenge series. I feel like I've done all the hard stuff that make for an interesting and challenging series tho.
Expert strategy: Seymour has multiple phase(s) triggered by hp lvls, so careful when attacking him. 1> lvl 2 elemental spells, flare Use hastega on party, talk for (3 Auron, Tidus, Yuna) buffs to stats, provoke him (and cast (regen) & reflect on Tidus) Damaging him with Lulu (flare), Auron (power break), Wakka (osmose 200 mp), steal with Rikku/Kimahri, to push him to next phase (poison him with 1 "fang") 2> desperado ==> dispels all buffs (beware) don't stay in this phase for long (break can kill players removing them), summon once to push next phase 3> cast reflect on him after dispelling protect (this prevents the healing from mortibody), keep reflect up on Tidus for easy win... also never attack (power/armor break)/kill mortibody until Seymour is below 4,000... this will guarantee an overkill.
Will this work for Madden football? Last year I tried to play with my PS5 controller and all the receivers had XBOX controller button icons above their heads making it impossible to play.

i dont remember the exact number of waves or if it defers based on which version of the game you have (this is the ps3 hd version) but i just did exactly what's shown in the video to get s-rank. If my strategy is not working for you than i'm not really sure what that reason could be if you followed everything exactly like is shown in the video.
Playing this again after the first time back in 05 (almost 20 years ago since playing it wow) can’t wait for the remake but even still this game still holds up in a lot of ways!
Does anyone know if the game autosaves after ATEs? Cause I lost a tetra match and reseted the game. It continued at the beginning of the section without showing any ATE. Kinda afraid I have missed it (playing steam version)

The talos portion can vary depending on where you defeated him and how many arms he has left. He defeats one boss per arm he has left. 2 bosses and one arm would be one boss left for you to fight. I defeated him closer to the excavation site but far enough away that I never came near him in unmoored world unless I went directly to his location. I had a red beam near volcanic encampment that I had to interact with and I didn’t see that here.
Ok so far I follow this up to level 14 on Ninja, magus, Devout & black belt. But for lv 15 onwards I see that for them the actions are different. How can I proceed in doing this? Ninja need 9, magus & Devout needs 10 & black belt needs 8. Can I simply do 10 actions on all of then (knowing that they won't level up at the same time)?
They made updates to the game and changed some stuff. My advice would be to check the dungeon first to see what material is dropping before you go in and than check to see if that material corresponds with what you are looking for.

I didn't realize that his quest was a timed quest until later. I thought I remember doing it later off camera but I remembered wrong. he only gives a iron halberd or something like that anyway so it's not a huge thing to miss but it would have been nice to show for the walkthrough.
It's not custom :). There should be a way to change voice of the character in one of the options (I forget where now) I also remember that there's different voices for when replays are turned off and replays are turned on. I always kept replays turned off and I liked my characters voice better with replays turned off too.
On that farm map, even after I copied your settings, the outside looks incredibly bright from the inside and it's impossible to see anyone through the blinding light. I tried to change gamma but I don't think its working. How many I fix please😭
That's weird. maybe try and right click the file and go to properties and make it "read only" so the game doesn't over write the changes. The game has had some updates since I last made this video and it's on UE5 now so try that first.
Hey: best inorganic void shard farm i've found so far is the hard mode toxic void fragment in the echo swamp. It drops 20 every completion. I took my level 9 freya into it for the clears and it wasnt that bad with level 100 gear. Definitely a great farm
Just to be sure, is this a guide for all the 85 achievements on Steam or is it just Platinum? Also do I have to get the extra scene at 11:37 for the 100%? I kept giving the wrong answer but nothing happened so I moved on ahahah
I was in fact playing the steam version so it does cover those achievements as well. If you didn't get the secret scene at 11:37 that's okay. I just wanted to show it for the video. it takes a while to get it because you need to keep selecting the wrong answer. I don't remember the exact number of times.
The boxes take up four squares, so if you can, or have the ability, get the 4 square safe box thing in your backpack. You can get a token for it to last like 72 hours or something.
