UPDATE: You can 1-shot the drake with the Martyr Maister teaching if you have the dragonforge bow for the Magic Archer. The spawns in this game seem to be really strange tho. I've done even more testing and I have a new video coming out. I figured out that spawns can sometimes change if you leave the area/exit the game. I think some RNG is involved. I have a new video coming out where i figured out how to find your spawn time. It's going to be a 1-shot drake farm for me in the video using the marty maister skill this time. In the video I'll slow down the speed so you can see the spawn time properly. it took me 3 days instead of 2 days to respawn the drake this time. Spawns in this game are really weird. ORIGINAL POST: Just so people know the unmoored world is the best place to get wyrmslife crystals if you plan on going to new game plus. This method in the video is good for the normal world to make lots of gold fast and get some EXP while you're at it. You don't need to be a high level to use this method effectively you just need to be able to hire sorcerer's with meteoron. it will also show you how to defeat these drakes really quickly which some people find to be annoying to kill. This method is very consistent and only requires 2 days of resting to respawn the drakes with my testing which is amazing for a large monster. I'll be making endgame guides for the unmoored world soon but i'll need to do some exploring and testing in that world first to find some efficient methods since that world is on a timer.
@@Zaeld No is not nerfed , and It will not be, they don't care about balance . A lot of skills are broken in this game , the shield of the spearhand make you immortal, same with maister ability of the thief, arc of might make tons of damage, etc. They don't really want the game to be difficult or challenging , just fun.
It's definitely nerfed. Before the Patch on Xbox X it was one-shot. Now it only takes 4-5 lifebars away. I'm using the frostbow that i bought from the elves. Maybe with a full upgradet "true ending " dragonsbow available by the dragonsmith for wlc you can still one-shot a dragon. But I am not that far in the story yet.
I'm hearing mixed responses for the special skill of the magic archer. Some people are saying it was nerfed after the patch (which is why I never tested using it) I'm not sure what is true so I'll have to test it myself soon.
The point of the video is to showcase the deluging shot + freeze method. Yes, it's true that you can freeze enemies without deluging shot if it's raining but I'm not trying to showcase freezing enemies during the rain. I'm trying to showcase the deluging shot + freeze combo.
it works for me on PC but the respawn system in this game is really stupid at times. Sometimes it's working well and sometimes it's not. They really need to fix it.
2 days. I even showed me sleeping 2 days in the video and explained how to respawn it after 2 days. Just watch the video... edit: It's 2 days for the specific drake that I farmed in the video. I had some problems with the other drakes. The one I farmed in the video is the most consistent drake. Sleep for 2 full days (can't be attacked by monsters at the camp) than log out and back in and the drake will respawn. I've tested this consistently and it was always 2 days for me.

@@Zaeld You can say you waited two days in the video but you could also say you waited 100 and we can't see the difference. It 7 days for me also. It is 7 days for every drake. Maybe this one was 2 days at one point but it is definately 7 days. I farm this one because it is conveniently located next to a camp and the camp attacks are minimal here but every time I have to wait 7 days. And trust me, I have checked to see if I indeed need to wait 7 days. Indeed I do.
