Hi Jarry, can you make a video on the Color grading you went for in this video? I am in love with it. Or can you tell me what I should search for to achieve this style? Thank you in advance
@@acequinoy8660 you can use it if you’re not planning on having a heavy color grade. I but you can try first and see if you are satisfied with the result. And then you can do some light color grading. But always remember to expose well.
Hey man great video! I’m planning to shoot a movie with this camera and I think I’ve also seen a guy who could instantly shoot with letterboxing on the top and bottom. Am I just confusing the camera here? Hope you have an amazing day!
@@imernst7206 actually the black bar on the top is either add in post or it’s the camera resolution. As far as I know camera usually shoot at 16:9 (standard) but it’s once in post that you chose the resolution that you want(2.39:1 for cinematic). If the guy you saw was using a screen monitor then, it’s certainly a monitor feature to show the black bar. But The only camera I know that can do that is the Sony zve1. But you can always use a monitor so you can use the black bars.
@@ThaCmaro I strongly agree. I’ve seen people with the best gear but the worst results and people with cheap gear but with amazing results. So it really depends on your skills and knowledge ☘️ (This is what We tell people who just begin) But at the end Gear matter at a certain level. When you have acquired enough skills, experience and knowledge, you will know the limits of the gear and that’s where the gears matter. ☘️
How can I expose my video correctly while moving? For steal videos it s not a problem, but when I m moving idk what to do.. if I use auto iso, the MM whil stay at 0.0 which is under exposed
@@sbn0466 Well in that case, you have to use auto ISO and put the minimum at the minimum recommended and the maximum at around 2500. Then you can change the MM value to directly +0.7 or +1.0 in the settings. I do not remember where is it but it should be in the exposition page. You’ll find like Mutli Metering stuff
For the Maw ISO I’ve tried using it at around 6400 but 6400 is when you are really in an environment with little light but usually 2500 is a good spot.
kit lens will allow you to try different focal length (more versatile). But it won't give you a blurry background. And sometimes its nice to have a background blur (depending on what you are shooting). Using fix lens like Sigma 30 mm f1.4 or sony 50mm f1.8 is very good and will make your video or photo look more pro, but it's a fix lens so sometimes you will feel limited but the focal length . I can recommend you to have a versatile zoom first (if you can) like sigma 18-50 f2.8 or Tamron 17-75 f2.8 (My choice but do some research about the pros and cons). then you can consider buying a prime lens (fix lens). Usually for prime lenses a 30 - 35 - 50 mm is a good focal length. But again, it's all depend on your work and what you are shooting. 😊 But if you're beginning if you can, buy the kit lens and then see which focal length you think is important 30 or 50 and buy the prime (fix) lens according to that. 😊
@@jarryandria Auto gives color shifts and it is noticeable. Definitely something I hate dealing with. The only auto feature I use unless I'm shooting night time landscape shots is Superior Auto for photos and my custom picture profile in Shutter Mode for video which keeps things consistent.
@@LS-is5ob oh I did it in one of my tik tok videos actually. So if you still interested in it, you can go check it out. My tik tok account is « Jarry Andria » ☘️
nice one.. Dude.. Could you please share/make a video on how you set this setting and grade, particularly for this video. this looks really nice. Especially for Sony ZV-E10 + Kit lens users
@@meetpatel5922 This is a very hard topic. Because even me now I constantly change lenses because of the need. But the lenses that I always keep is the tamron 17-70 f2.8. Other than that It really depends on your need. But let me tell you what I think and you do some research after to find out which suit you better. So At the beginning I would recommend investing in zoom, it’s not only versatile but you will not need more than one lens. I usually recommend Tamron 17-70 and sigma 18-50. When I first bought my first camera (sony zve10) I bought a bunch of fix lenses but I was so annoyed because every time I want different focal length I had to remove swap lenses and it was lots of extra steps that at the end was a lots of step. But if you are doing filmmaking and do no need to constantly change lenses then this is some prime lenses that I can recommend. First Check out the Sigma Trio. At f1.4 you can’t find better lenses. Then Viltrox lenses. Also good for starting. You can always check on RU-vid which is a better lens but those are my opinion about the subject. Hope it helps ☘️
@@ItsAdrienneMarie you don’t have to color grade in post. This setting is meant for that. Good video straight out of camera. All the video I took with the Sony zv-e10 was not Graded at all. But if you want you can use this setting and add some light color grade.
It applies for those who have Dual Base Iso I guess. As for 8bit camera it’s not necessary as long as you have the RIGHT exposure with your video. ALSO this is an S-CINETONE replica not a log. So the only thing that you should really pay attention to is your exposure ✨
@@Jabbadada you can go see my video about the little sony zve10 settings if you want to see it. Because it’s a modified Picture Profile. And No I don’t use Lut because it would destroy the quality of the video.
