For someone who was born and lived in Harlow for over 30 years I have to say I think this video is a little flatterring. There are quite a few grim estates in Harlow thaI I know well and you really wouldn,t want to live anywhere near them.
@@grahamwood9428 thanks for your comment. Everyone slags off Harlow and is aware of the problems. This video focuses on the best of it. People want pride in their area which is why it has done so well. That said I may return in the future to show Harlow’s problems. We’ll see.

I'm not a traveller but if I got hit my mum or dad would tell me to go back out and hit them back. It's better to fight and lose than not fight. It's similar in prisons;you don't have to stand tall but you have to stand up

My mam used to bray the holy moses out of me with an old Madera wood rolling pin ..or the sholl clog ..ha .or the steel that a butcher uses to strop his knives on .😂😂..used to get me in bath n knock the pony out of me n make me run a bath n soak in salt to clean all wounds up..good is salt water soak for a beating ..stops all the stiffness next morn..a lot of it. ..I was always going to be bad so it was pointless really...id end up in bath smashed up with a heavy rolling pin in raucous laughter.. uncontrollable manic laughter..bless her ...aye. she did lol
I was once getting jumped and robbed and I ran into a shop all3 followed me in and started attacking me. to my saviour was a irish traveller who get them off me and gave me a lift home and a ciggarette. possibly saved my life that day
Brought up wit travellers 6 kids my irish father my mom in a trailer. Im not a traveller but was always made to feel wanted on the site.in my life ive moved 23 times i cant settle.my father was from outside Cashel in Tipperary. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚🇮🇪☘

What a great bunch would love to have a sit down and a few beers with some travellers and talk about their culture and way of life . Fascinating people. My wife is from travelling community but generations apart so long gone the days of horses and old wooden wagons. Great video dude
