Quick question for you buddy, what is the gap between the steering axles. Trying to make my own heavy hauler and that is the spacing I want between steering axles.
@@andrewcollins6525 until the paint is off, it all depends on the paint and how much is on there, I’ve had results within 24 hours but on something else it took around 4 days
I appreciate you doing a video on this. I'll be getting this kit for the next build. I do like the 770S but I don't think I've got enough experience with the amount of glueing needed.
Really like that dashboard with the leds. Makes me want to build another one now. Got a grand hauler with the 40ft trailer, everything on it and took ages to complete. Keep looking at building a custom scania or something similar one day... just have to save up 😂👍🏻
Love the rust! I wanted to do something like that on my cross RC crawler and all I found was paint weathering and didn't feel confidant enough to try it. This I will try! Amount of iron powder I saw in my welding years I'd have a sack full now! Used to use iron powder coated rods so another source lol,a bugger in tight spaces! And another cracking build!

Was waiting for this one! Mike was a good modeller no mistake. And you've done the builds proud. My dad drove a D series ford tipper when I was a kid,he got the new 6 legger to the annoyance of the older drivers,bosses response was he looked after the trucks! I later drove a 10ton D tipper and it was a great memory machine,one day for a lifetime of memory. Also my normal tipper was the newer iveco 6 wheeler with a Cummins motor. Dad also had AEC tippers under his belt,ergo cab. And many others. I would pilot around quarries sat on his lap, and if I over filled with sand he made me shovel it out! How to learn,on the job at 6/7 years old! My grandad went a bit further back with his foden,steam powered at chard sawmill in Somerset! So kinda lorry drivers all,my brother is still driving now. I miss it more hence the love of tamiya trucks,likely the only way I'll ever 'drive' an artic or rigid again. Keep em coming mate,love every one so far!
stunning mate,dont think ive seen that one before! i also did furniture deliveries when working for debenhams,and later with house of frazer . also watched you and tim truckin on an older clip,showing him the black scania with tag steer,and because i could i watched the whole 2hrs and change.most enjoyable!
Loving these videos, the anything is possible attitude is brilliant. The pipe and cable ties is just simple and looks great on the truck. Could you do a vid on the D Series if you still have it ?
@@RDTrucking it certainly is my truck, and if it was true to scale it wouldn’t fit the chassis correctly, plus the fact I bought the cab I couldn’t really argue that point
