Thanks much, worked for me, for my '22 Limited Outback. Interesting that I got official email from Subaru explaining how to update using the OTA (wifi) method, but that definitely did NOT work...I got the screen that told me the software was already up to date (which it definitely was not). I don't really care all that much about the button placement etc, but Im Really hoping this update helps with the stability and responsiveness of the entire head unit, because from what I can see and from what I've read, the head unit / Nav system is the one biggest downfall of Subarus. Thx again.
The light bar is cool, but it seems a bit cheesy to have to wire in the separate switch to change the color of the DRL. Is there no way to use the switch panel which costs almost as much as the light bar to change the color?
I’m sure there is. But I didn’t wire it that way because I have future plans for that switch panel. I didn’t want another button taken up just for changing the colour of the DRL. I leave it in Amber all the time.
I just did the Nov 2023 update for my 2021 outback xt, it took about 15 to 20 min to complete the upload and it worked flawlessly, it also updated my maps. Thanks for the info.
worked great for my 2020 outback premium. I hated having to go through the menus in order to turn on AVH every time I got in the car.I have navigation so used the high version of the software. The upload to the car took 8 minutes. THANKS!
I need to replace my whole bumper and attach a new bumper. How difficult would it be to attach a new bumper to the sensors through unplugging and plugging them on a new one? Thank you!:)
After formatting the USB stick as NTFS, 7zipping the archive and copying over all four files, Win 10 gives the foillowing error: An exexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem. Error 0x800703EE: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid. ALLUPD-NAVI.pkg Type: PKG File Size: 5.91 GB Date modified: 2023-01-10 02:31 Of the four files, only the above appears in file manager with a Date modified of today's date. (The others show dates in 2022 or 2021). What am I missing?
This worked perfectly on my 2022 Outback Touring. It took 26 minutes and it was the first time the software had been updated. Thanks so much! I'm looking forward to the improved ease of use for simple things like turning the fan higher/lower and turning on/off ventilated/heated seats.
Awesome video, this was a life saver! Just installed the A229 Pro on my 2022 Crosstrek. I used a multimeter to test the open fuse slots, and found one always on and one ACC, so I didn’t have to mess with any of the existing fuses. The toughest part for me was re-attaching the bottom part of the rubber conduit in the back. Thanks!
Get a test light. If the car is off and you touch the port and the light comes on it’s powered all the time. If the light only comes on when the car is on then it’s only on when the car is on

Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking forward to do a sponsorship with you!
Great Video! If anyone is wondering this update is so much smoother than the older one and it finally uses the full screen for when you use auto play rather than just 1/4 of the screen!
i 've just tried the carlinkit 5.0 2air wireless adapter and the 7-10% loss in the battery per 30 min driving on my iphone 15 and this was not acceptable for me so i was thinking of buying android tbox (handling the high media quality streaming , GPS navigation) but as highlighted in your review i wonder if these issues were not fixed with the OTA Updates or even in the new version (Tbox Ambient USB)? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RiFmb3iasXQ.htmlsi=un4tsEIUuz3LHnDt i think this may resolve the issue , hope u can share ur feedback with us
I have 2024 Impreza RS and when I tap software update, it immediately shows "up to date", doesn't even take time to check. I also don't know if the infotainment system has internet through my phone's mobile data. How did you see the update?
So everything was good, I was all ready to do this for my 2024 Outback and then the subject of the airbag came up and my anxiety shot up. I still subbed and liked, but man, running the cable behind the airbag is freaky to me. Its obvious to me after you mentioned it, but do I trust a "professional" to take these same precautions and care about it as much as I do? IDK about that. I may just still do it myself. This is pretty daunting, but hopefully my OCD kicks in and I follow all the steps, I'm going to make a list and go down the list. lol
