Just a word of caution... On February 11, 2017 a 40m-tall tembusu tree uprooted at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and killed a 38-year-old woman. The woman has been identified as Radhika Angara. The incident left her French husband, Jerome Rouch-Sirech, 39, and their two children, one-year-old twins injured. It was a friend's daughter 😥

Hi ! We at Cocovolt want you to know we have launched a totally new way of renting scooters on Koh Samui. Have you noticed the internet is filled with videos instructing how to rent, how not to get scammed and what things to look out for. When you need a lengthly instruction video simply to survive this process, it is not ok. We decided to change this and designed a scooter service which is quick and easy to use, you don't have to worry about scams or language issues. Renting a vehicle need to be safe, quick, smooth, convenient and flexible. This is what we created, and much more. Not only is the service super convenient, the scooters are ELECTRIC ! this means they are noiseless and cause no pollution, so you'll be moving forward without leaving anything behind but a legacy worth passign on. If you travel from far, you will easily be spending 10 USD/ hour on your stay on Samui simply calculating in the flights and hotel cost. Your time is precious and you don't want to spend hours sweating in a rental shop waiting for your turn to fill up paperwork and procedures when picking up and returning the bike while you could be already exploring the island. We want to save your time so you can spend it gathering experiences and good memories on your stay. Cocovolt is not your ordinary scooter rental shop. It's a complete service. Here's how it works 1. Install our Cocovolt app for Android/iOS from apple appstore, Google Play or from Amazon appstore. 2. Select and pay on the app a subscription ranging from 1 hour to weeks length 3. Choose one of our 10 HopPoints on the island to pickup your scooter from 4. You get a lockbox code and a bike id from our customer service (service is available currently daily from 9 to 21 and soon 24/7) 5. Find the bike at the HopPoint of your selection and get the keys from the lockbox attached to the scooter. Every bike is equipped with a helmet and a self-service charger and covered by CTPL insurance 6. While you drive around the island, you may need assistance in any matter - our customer service is just one click away using our app's chat feature which connect you directly to a person. No matter what you need, tips, directions etc, we will do our best to help you. Our team is local and is there to help you with many topics. 7. Our scooter run for 40-60 km on one charge depending on the terrain and your driving style. If you take longer trips, you will need more power. As all we do, we wanted to make this as easy as possible so you have plenty of alternatives how to handle this: A. Use the self service charger to recharge at your accommodation (pay only for the energy to your landlord or hotel) B. Get in touch with our customer service to find the nearest available scooter and drive to the hoppoint to switch the bike with a full battery (no extra charge) C. Use our app to order a new battery delivered to anywhere you are (Premium service with a small addon fee) 8. When you are done, just drop off the scooter at any of our HopPoints. If you don't feel like visiting a HopPoint, you can use our flexidelivery/return service for a small fee and we will deliver the scooter to anywhere on the island and when you're done, just leave it where it's most convenient for you and we'll take care of it. No need to gas-up when you're done. A normal gasoline powered 125cc scooter uses about 50 THB worth gasoline / distance of 60 km. With Cocovolt, if you - Recharge by switching scooters on our hoppoints you save 100% on the fuel cost. (it's free) - Recharge by using the self-service charger, you save 75% on fuel cost. - use our premium service where our team member travels to you to switch your battery, where ever you are, you'll be paying a little bit more, but hey..you're sipping a latte enjoying the view while we switch the battery ;D With us you are not committing to one bike for the duration of your stay, but you get access to our whole fleet ! So you see, we go the extra mile so you could enjoy your electric adventure to the fullest ! - fast the rental process - use your own language (8 to choose from ! English, Thai, German, French, Russian and Chinese and even Finnish and Estonian) - reliable online payments based on platform used by even the big-tech companies - no deposits - minimum 1 hour rent (e.g. pickup from Nathon, drive to Chaweng and drop it off there) - Complete freedom (pickup from one point, drop off at another or use our flexi delivery/return service and get the scooter anywhere/drop off anywhere) - Save money on gasoline cost - Enjoy our premium services for some luxury - Easy to handle, fun to look at and fun to drive bikes - Drive in silence and with no pollution (Every 125cc scooter driven with gasoline causes pollution per year worth the weight of an elephant) - Drive with peace of mind, drive in harmony with the nature, drive on good Karma ! We welcome you to join the ranks of our happy customers and welcome you to Koh Samui, you're Cocovolt scooter is waiting for you here.
Hello! I want to take my parents to Hanoi! Could you please let me know what places around Hanoi i can take them that includes less travelling. Thank you😊
Hi! Thanks for watching! Every tour company offers different ones to different locations. Ours was about 1h or so each way. But there are several companies offering different stops to eat, caves, for kayaking, etc.
Thanks for watching! Well, the video was shot in 2022, so, that's why you still see some people wearing masks. But anyway, in Asia is pretty common to see people wearing mask, even for a simple cold.
I was going to say, wait, there is more video jajaja When I see the color of the food being that orangy thingy, I always assume it is going to be super spicy. Since we have never had fresh durian, we can't even imagine how strong the smell can be, we must try one day. We also hate wasting food, so we are always eating the leftovers, that is why we can't lose weight lol...or so we think. It is so great to have you guys back!!!
We probably spent too long eating spicy foods that our "not spicy" is actually spicy for other mouths 😂 We're so happy to see a bunch of your comments! Feels like the old times! And give us more motivation to keep working and edit and publish a bunch of backlog from other trips and all!
Bryan asks if there is a bad chocolate? and then he added, "this is why I don't like to share with you, you also eat the best part of the meals" Moka and Simba could be traveling buddies, love to see cats outside with their owners, I know a lot of house cats don't like to be out, but the ones that do, I love to see them out enjoying the world. Turkish coffee!! Love it!
Oh, there are bad chocolates, trust me! hahah we can always buy another piece or another meal! (but I know who's gonna have to finish that one too...) Yeah, we love seeing traveling/exploring cats! 😻
It totally makes sense to feel some similarities between Melaka and Goa since they were both occupied by the Portuguese. Same thing, yes, if you ask some Americans, they would say Portugal is the capital of Spain lol... But yes, tons of similarities. He loves his family! Love it! Nothing like chatting with locals. We miss traveling 😢😢
Every time we see a Melaka video, we think about the delish food everywhere. The videos that Greg and Jumi & Puri and Sue have made before always make us salivate. We are looking forward to go to Asia when we start traveling internationally again. Aww the cat loves the cuddles!!!
Yeah, to us, every corner of Malaysia feels like G&J and P&S already shown us! haha (except Borneo. That's gonna be us first sharing content!) Asia will blow your minds!!
