Phuket Old Town is a heritage part of the city with Sino-Portuguese style architecture. Every Sunday, from 4pm until night, Phuket celebrates the "Sunday Market" with a myriad of delicious street food and snacks from diverse cultures, handicrafts, live music and more. It all happens along Thalang Road, which is blocked for car traffic allowing the crowds move freely and safely.

Thank you for standing up when the Thai National Anthem was played. 😊🙏🏻 I visited Phuket in Dec 2021 and fell in love because of the variation in attractions and activities we could do. Phuket has everything, from nice beaches, so mnay food options, chic Old Town and access to more attractions in nearby provinces. Have you visitted Samet Nang She viewpoint in Phang Nga? It was breathtaking!

Thanks! We had to come up with some idea to stop wating time and once we decided, that food was gone or the stall closed 😅 Exactly, fate! Destiny! Mystery! It's exciting. And if you don't really fancy what you got, you can always "cheat" and go to the one next to it. 😁

Oh man look at all that meat. Give me some rice and I could eat any of that. You are right about having too much choices. Haven’t been to a market like this as to when I was a kid. You are so adventurous with just picking a number. Our family has done a lot of curb or sidewalk eating. That countdown beep reminded me of the movie the Purge. Looks like its back to normal there.
