Realistically can an erudition ever reach an Acheron level meta defining damage output? Imagine an erudition being the strongest dps in the game. Insane.
Yikes, she is starting to look an aweful lot like a free unit. No weakness implant is criminal for a break DPS. Guess we'll see what happens. On the one hand it allows us to save but on the other hand saving boooring 😂Lingsha is pretty much a skip for me too, as was Jiaoqiu. Well it allowed me to get Feixiao and Robin E1 so I can't complain. I'm sure we're going to be right back to desperately wanting to pull new characters quite soon!
Honestly I might pull rappa, I like her character design, however I was always thinking of what characters do I like that could also make my account more valuable I've been building a break team ever since 2.2 with ruan mei rerun and I was thinking on pulling on firefly when she gets a rerun. Problem with firefly is that so she is viable for all game modes I kinda need e2 or at the very least e1, which means I'll need to pull at least 2 characters, at most 3 characters. When I put this into perspective I thought, what about pulling rappa for PF and boothill for the other 2 game modes Rappa's strong suit is pure fiction, with a break team and e0s1 rappa I should be able to guarantee at the very least 30k points for the foreseeable future, hopefully the next year or so Boothill is still very good for MoC and AS so pretty much enough said Having a break team would also free up my robin from my follow up team so I could use her with my acheron Also pulling e0 rappa and boothill is at most 2 characters and if I want their s1 it's also much better with the gatcha system than potentially pulling an e2s1 Then when eventually jiaoqiu gets a rerun I pull his e0s1 and am hopefully caught up with the gatcha and free to build new teams and pull e2 acheron when she gets another rerun in 3.x
Despite her not being ideal for Moc. Im still going for her. Shes erudition so its kind of a given that she'll excell in pf and simulated universe. Plus her animations is pretty dope.
Hm.. So far, every "paper nerf" i have seen has been not so bad for the character overall performance (Firefly, Jiaoqiu, Feixiao...) But there, I really wonder what Rappa will be like in practice. What is interesting is that Rappa is a Break style unit but potentially without Ruan Mei synergy (except for her Weakness Efficiency) ? Maybe on release she'll be disappointing and then a new unit will come out and we'll be like "oh, ok, that was the plan !" (Tingyun ?).
Thanks for reminding that Dr. Ratio free release happened after heavy nerfs. I'm going to skip her but I would build her if I got her for free. I was so surprised about Dr. Ratio free release year ago. I couldn't believe until I got him during his release date. Only thing left for Rappa's pull worth is her ultimate animation. Even her light cone is only to her use.
the only thing that is hyping me up for this patch is the new relics both are so good that people, ESPECIALLY ME, are going to camp this cavern for MONTHS

Alright then, I'm having second thoughts on getting her.. I accidently got Feixiao cuz I stupidly tried to build pity but I have robin and I unfortunately haven't using her cuz I lack follow-up units (I do have Dr ratio, Robin and Hunt 7th now but I don't have aventurine😭) but I guess I should build the Fua team now (Huohuo cuz I'm aventurineless, Robin, Moze and Feixiao) Also lingsha's banner is gonna be here in a couple of hours.. should I get her or no? I have E4 gallagher with his signature LC which is at S5 I might skip both of them and just go all in for Sunday who is speculated to be in 2.7 and if that's the case then I shall save my stellar jades. (Also I'm excited for more penacony lore and hoyo please bring back *those* characters😭)
Wow Wow Wow ! Rejoice that you have one of the strongest unit in the game and a formidable single target hunter ! Furthermore, if it is accidental then it means you got her fairly early. That sounds like a rather good trade ! Not only that, you have Robin + March Hunt = practically her best team mates (March can be argued but they really work well together). Yes, do build this pinnacle FuA team right now ! Plus, you have Dr.Ratio : the guy may look like a FuA unit but not necessarily. What he wants is Debuff, so Moze is good for him (then add a Pela or a Tingyun or other Support) That is two teams geared towards single targets already ! Now, Lingsha or Aventurine ? Both of them will Debuff and FuA, so both work well with Dr.Ratio and Feixiao. I am biased towards Aventurine + S1 because of the strength of his shield and it is already his 1st rerun. In your case, you already have a strong healer with Huohuo and an other good one with Gallagher (Debuff for Dr.Ratio). Then, I have to add that Acheron may rerun soon as well, maybe in the same patch as Rappa (and alongside Aventurine, to justify having only one new 5* in v2.6 ?). We'll have confirmation in the official stream, about a week before Lingsha banner ends.

I'm kinda cooked cuz I really wanna get Sunday first- maybe after pulling for him I'll get Aven and Acheron the next time they rerun (Gepard's the only preservation I have but I barely use him due to enemies giving a bunch of debuffs) The Break-Effect team been a great help to me (Gallagher, Ruan mei, HMC, Boothill), Boothill's been clearing single-target content with ease without his signature lc (but I will eventually try to get it when his banner reruns but I heard that moze's lc has break effect and spd which would be great for bh so I'll go pull for it) AoE is the only thing that's kinda an obstacle for me cuz I have no DPS for AoE, I do have Qingque at E6 and Sparkle (My first 5 star yet I haven't been using her for a long time) however after building my 2nd team, I'll eventually build a team for AoE content but right now I'll focus on MoC and AS
i like the direction hoyo is going with characters like Rappa, and that's enabling teams in different game modes. What would be nice is if they focused less on vertical characters like jiaoqiu for acheron and made more 4* that could bring the older characters back to life. We need a character that advances enemies and forces them to attack to revive retaliate characters, and we need a character to help out DoT teams
I WANT her to be good but my god, she sounds terrible. Jade can be made into a strong character at E1 and gave me hope for Erudition u its outside of PF but Rappa just looks…bad
I really hope that she gets a buff or any change to her kit to make her better because her character design is beautiful, and I really need the 2nd PF team.🥲 BTW thanks for the video
I was looking forward to Rappa cause of her animations, but honestly she is looking like to being another Jade not saying she is bad or anything, but she seems to mostly be good in Pure Fiction. She kinda seems more investment heavy as well needing her sig LC to get the most out of her kit where other units its mostly just a damage increase. I think she'll be overshadowed by the potential reruns in her patch and whoever is dripped next week, but maybe Ill get her on her rerun since I am still lacking that Pure Fiction unit for my account lol
As a 2.2 player I'v been saving for Sunday but now they are throwing aventurine, acheron lingsha and rumored tingyun that's rumoured be a 5 atar HTB (which i need for my firefly team) if even rappa was good i would get more screwed than i already am I really appreciate filler characters like yunli and rappa (or Emily in genshin) it helps you save for who you want
I like rappa's design but I used all .y gems on fexiao and I'm not a fan of break meta cause I don't want to get ruan mei so I'll get her in the future maybe
3:32 This is my concern and been telling people of this anti-synergy. With current superbreak team and without FF, I already often aim for Harmony TB to inflict the weakness break because it delays the enemy for so long in broken state.

she had the unenviable position of being erudition, a polarizing design, and being right before the banner that is most likely going to release sunday in 2.7 i think she'll have the same reception jade's banner did. pure fiction likers will be into it but not super popular. i do like her vibes because she reminds me of naruto, but im also f2p and i gotta save man. i think its also harder for brand new characters to get people interested in them with all the rumors of characters people are already attached to getting upcoming five star versions
I would have got her for PF but now I have Jade, Lingsha and the good old JY and Herta comps. I am actually grateful she ain't broken, my jades need a break from the triple banner to recover for Sunday Stingyun
@@iSUMMONYTRappa is made for PF, weakness implant in PF is kinda useless imo since enemies die so quickly, her ult already breaks all 4/5 enemies each turn she acts, which should kill the whole wave, if you have her LC she should also get a 50% advance forward every time she ults (also, when she ults she gets 3 enhanced attacks so that's 3 turns she gets a 50% action advance) Rappa is a PF unit through and through, yes she won't perform as well outside of PF but some characters will just be like that, not every character will be able to clear every game mode. Boothill is good for AS and MoC and not good for PF for example, if we take that into account and also the fact that mihoyo will most likely create more gamemodes geared towards erudition in future versions, rappa might have more value I also don't really like erudition as a class, but hopefully erudition fans will have their redemption arc once one more game mode releases dor them, hopefully in 3.x

Seems like with other break dps she'll be highly reliant on having a specific support. She might be decent for the time being but she'll probably pop off if someone can allow her to break enemies that are already broken. Hopefully they do implement that for a character. Im definitely pulling her though, love her design and her playstyle seems weird enough.
We need more characters like Rappa. They can’t release T0 characters every single patch, otherwise powercreep will get worse crazy fast. She’s perfectly fine and 0 cycling shouldn’t be the standard for every new character they release.
I agree fully on her having many, MANY team options. She even has fun off-ball ones like running her with E1 Jade (Might honestly be the one of the best debt collectors in the game with her extreme frequency),, using her with Acheron (with Feixiao on the Topaz LC to generate Acheron stacks) and Jiaoqiu (two ult focused DPS), using her with a break team (she is an amazing toughness reducer to rapidly enable superbreak, especially with March for stack generation. Or with Boothil to let him do the breaks after she reduces for max damage). And I'm not joking about any of these, try them out. They all seriously slap if you got the units already.
