A little bit about me... ❤ I'm Cara the full-time creator behind Kindly Unspoken, a popular food and Christian lifestyle blog featuring homemade recipes, faith, and encouragement for women.
❤ I'm a proud Christian, police wife, mom of two boys, and a lover of chocolate chip cookies.
❤ I've always loved to bake and learned so much from my Mom and Mamaw. I now love keeping the baking tradition alive with my sons and making lots of sweet memories.
Cool. It's far too sweet for me - but it was conceptually inspiring with the white chocolate. I like how it made my mind think about how to tackle that in savoury direction. Thank you!
I like how you do the recipe, just one complaint in you video and on your site you don't say what your measurements are. Like one pound beef , two TBSP flour. It would be great if you updated this. Like if your using 1LB beef so much of this and that. Would love to get your measurements ty so much
Thanks for the feedback! I actually do always include the measurements both in the description and on my website (you click jump to recipe at the top of the page). I also do say them in all my newer videos to make it easier for people but unfortunately can’t change it in my older ones. Hope that helps!
I use salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and ground mustard is optional. You can feel free to add other seasonings/herbs if desired. All the amounts are listed in the description ❤️
You say on your webpage how you always weigh your ingredients. I went through fifteen pages of a lot of filler and yet no mention of how much a cup of flour weighs. How much does a cup and a half of self-rising flour weigh?
If you click on the recipe card there is an option to choose either US units or Metric units. If you click M it will show you the exact grams which in this case is 188 grams of self-rising flour. I list my recipes primarily with US measurements as that is what most people follow on my site but the option to switch is always there. Here is the direct link to the recipe card: www.kindlyunspoken.com/cinnamon-coffee-cake-muffins/print/21909/?scale=1&unit=metric P.S. There are really great conversion sites you can find with a quick Google search that are helpful to bookmark for future reference in case a website doesn’t have the conversion ❤️
We prefer using larger, flour tortillas so the filling doesn’t seep out, but you can definitely use smaller ones or corn tortillas if you want. Also burritos aren’t typically covered in a sauce which is why we called them enchiladas.
