Love your reviews - neither of you are annoying - bonus! Also love that you're local. I am concerned about heating food in plastic containers (leaching) I know that I can transfer food to a non plastic container, but do you have any comments?
Thank you for your comment. We can't give you any advice on plastic to non-plastic container. We can only share our experience and we had no issues at all.
The city of Toronto should have bought Honest Ed's and turned it into a historical site, museum and kept a portion into retail, rental space like Kensington Market.
STOP SUPPORTING THEM. I don’t understand how stupid people can be! They are horrible mean and evil to their employees. In January in the deep-freezing temperature, an employee arrived 40 minutes earlier than his shift started, and they were not letting him inside the premises while outside was -25 degrees. They hire foreigners from temp agencies who don’t know their rights in this country yet. There are brutal horrible managers. Their meals are disgusting 🤮 and cheap and many refrigerated items are not being stored properly leading to contamination. CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) inspects them regularly, yet I believe the contamination occurs due to how badly employees are been treated at this food manufacturer. The General Manager is having an affair with HR and behind the owner, they scream and yell at their employees for completely non-trivial matters, assuming is their way of releasing their frustration. They also provide services to HelloFresh and Factors.
Thank you for this video! I've been using Factor meals for the past few months because the time to cook is hard to find when university gets in the way, but having more free time now has made me start thinking with alternatives such as cooking myself. Excellently informative video with very pleasant vibes throughout.
do you'll still use this? i just ordered it for the 1st week of 2024, want to use it for a month as im busy with project deadlines and barely get any time to cook and tend to eat junk
Chefs plate say they source food local and National, what does that even mean? Do we have list of foods suppliers or is one of Bill Gates food manufactures?
So Sorry Ed That the Profiteers Took everything You Built and Turned it into everything for the Rich and Famous > This was never what you wanted I cant Name Names but it is What it Is . Rest In Peace so Many Torontonions have you To Thank for Making Their Lives Better Because of Your Generosity and Caring
Super wish you ship to B.C. so hard to find affordable :( ones under $10 per meal 3x a day to eat 7 days a week and 4weeks a month Gets so pricey When you have a part time job minimum wage but want to eat healthier
Place ain’t haunted at all, I was just there. I can see it helps to boost tourism to say there’s discerning presumed apparitions, etc; the place it’s fine and what’ll stand out more is how Canadian financier Sir Henry Pellat went from riches to rags surrendering the mansion, that and how the place was used as Xavier’s School for the gifted youngsters ..
Thanks so much Alistair! You made our day with your comment! We don't want to stop, we just haven't had the time to create content. We're Realtors (therefore self-employed) and we've been working non-stop, building our business, for the last 5 years. We've been creating video content, but it's all been for Real Estate (@jandctorontogroup) We have a long list of J & C Toronto videos we'd like to finish and post for here... it just might take some time 🥴
St. Lawrence Market is incredible. So lucky to live in Toronto, and Ontario! There are amazing markets, vineyards, landscapes, sights, restaurants, lovely people. Come and visit! If you enjoy camping or nature, pack an amazing picnic from the St. Lawrence Market and drive North with a bottle of wine or some local brew or something to enjoy next to one of the thousands of beautiful pure lakes, gorgeous cliffs and beaches (and go for a brisk swim and hike if you are so inclined).
I went up the CN Tower at night in 2019. I had a little anxiety because the disc part has nothing under it but I'm sure the designers made it strong. It's my favorite landmark of Canada - Jacob from NY
We’re moving to Toronto soon (having never even visited Canada) so looking forward to exploring this labyrinth! What a great video, thanks for making it!
Biodegradable is one of the most abused words under the green umbrella. Bleach is biodegradable. What we all need to be looking for is compostable. Thank you for the review.
Thank you for watching and for educating. We also appreciate the feedback. That's a very good point to make (compostable) and I wish we knew to make that same point while we were filming. Thanks again Monique and have a great day!
@@JandCToronto It's okay. I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I just don't like that so many things try to call something green and say biodegradable. Sometimes biodegradable is good. Sometimes it is not good.
