I'm sorry you gave up on Paradise Galleries. !!!! I just ordered my first reborn baby girl from them, and I am excited to put her away until Christmas. She's delightful. Their money back guarantee, and quality guarantee are quite nice. Buying online is so often quite a risk, at least with PG you can send the doll back if you don't like it. It is disappointing that they didn't treat you with more respect.
Your 4th (?), there is a gift within you. Willow looks so beautiful. i think her hair is very well done, it will be better and better as time goes on. Ms SueEllen is an excellent teacher, I have been listening to her videos again and again. I had to delay my start to painting due to some health issues, which are now resolved. It is a blessing that the creator of UF developed these special air dry paints. I would never use heat set paints, and felt "normal" acrylics are too broad a usage to be good "permanent" paints.

You did a great job on Willow. I’m just starting out painting and I watched your oops baby and I did one ,too. Mine looked blue like it couldn’t breathe. Live and learn.
It’s the heating of the vinyl that causes the health problems. The vinyl releases toxins in the air while it’s baking. I don’t think it’s the heat set paints but it may be that as well.

Good to see you gals again! Omg that doll looks professionally done. Maybe a new career for you? Mary, I used to do a lot of crafts too, beads, painting, wreaths, but at 71 my eyesight is shot and my hands shake too much. You’re right, there’s nothing good about getting old! 😢
