The game isn't really GPU heavy so FSR is pointless and the game looks blurry enough even at native 4K. Frame gen would really help CPU bound scenarios. I use lossless scaling FG, looks like they have massively improved CPU performance though so maybe i don't need it anymore.
Omg, i can't see the difference. Can't even differentiate 1080p and 1440p. I'll just stick to 1080p gaming but i strive to one day and hope seeing this kind of video will awaken my beyond 1080p sharingan.
Hey, this combo is a bit overkill for me for 1080p, and I do record it only in games where it matters the most, like Rainbow Six Siege or Counter Strike. I can do some results for you next time I play the game, which will be tomorrow.
@@LordXyrill Understandable, I have played one game on 1080p just now to test it, and because I'm CPU bound in many cases even on 1440p at low settings, much does not changed with 194fps average (low preset with FSR Quality), so difference would be about 10FPS with current CPU usage. They could obviously improve that, but this is how it stands right now without some extensive testing.
Hey, you mean RTSS overlay template? If yes, you can download it here, its my preset file.io/viw9qYgers11 this is directory of overlays, put it there C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\Plugins\Client\Overlays\
MSI Afterburner and RTSS, its modified mini.ovl and presentmon_foreground.ovl you can download it here, its my preset file.io/gWbnHM65l98k this is directory of overlays, put it there C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\Plugins\Client\Overlays\
If you want invite to the test, just comment under with your steam profile link and I'll add you to friend list and send invite. Invites take up to 2 days to be delivered.
I m using ryzen 5900x and rtx 4070 super as well, with full setting the game sttuter a lot especially when visitting stable in farm You have any idea? The 1%fps keep dropping btw
How much RAM do you have? There are many reasons why the game can start stutter, from temperature problems to outdated drivers to way, way more. It also might help to lock FPS, I've experienced that in DayZ recently, I can't play without FPS unlocked to avoid stutters.
@@wm1476 dont you have some bullshit like power saving mode on? or idk, its weird your gpu usage is so low, and whats your CPU usage? per clock, not overall
I was thinking about it, but right now there is Arena Breakout released, Black Myth: Wukong benchmark and new season in WoW is starting soon. Might do it , I haven't played it for a while so will give it a try and make video, but definitely not this or next week.
I see a lot of these comments about how it uses a lot of CPU power but my 5700x3d barely hits 60%-70% at 1080p 240hz, but my RX 6800 maxes out at times. The game is definitely a little stuttery though.
The game seems to have problem with synchronization or perhaps the game is made async to begin with. Before, I had a 1070, my CPU usage is max out and my FPS is terrible. After, I got a 4070S, my CPU no longer max out. I think the game overwork the CPU without considering if your GPU can push to that FPS or not.
You should show high settings too, a lot of people will play optimized for this not ultra and high is closer to that than ultra and looks pretty good still (Few options ultra, most high, some medium)
Hey, I sure can, it’s in the Game Pass, but it will take some time as I need to buy access, and I can’t promise anything currently . I have ready one new video for R6 Siege that will release tomorrow and already plans for another one.
I only saw I was mentioned this morning, never got a notification. This game is extremely heavy on the CPU and for no apparent reason. I'm hoping they can get CPU performance sorted as it is quite an enjoyable game. Good video and I appreciate the mention!
You have 130-150 FPS with SSR setting on high and 70-80 FPS on low? That does not seems right, is your settings really the same? And yes, version is 4.04, this video was recorded at 6th of July, this year.
@@midderftw i have 130/150 low ......70/80 high ssr .yeah your custom settings no rt no hair works (totally useless e go bottleneck with frame gen on). sorry i say bad before
Better in the open world. But usually same. Some boss fights like Shaelmaar or Cloud Giant might be a bit more demanding, but I highly doubt they will be more demanding than running through Hierarch Square, sadly I do not have saves to trigger these boss fights. My save is complete game with I guess all bosses defeated. I'm still learning how long and what should I show in the video, and I was thinking about including some fights (I've tested fights, because I've played it for a bit recently, roaming around the world etc.), but I found 24mins video long enough. Can do something later just for you if you are interested to show you how it runs. Just tell me the settings you will likely play on.
Game is still struggling with CPU usage, client side and even server side, but they’re working on improvements, but I think major performance improvements will be seen in Arma 4.
It has been confirmed that developers are hard at work updating the engine of the game to version 5.4, which should significantly boost performance of the game. Unreal Engine 5.4 is offering big CPU performance boost. They are also working on many other features and improvements in the first major update. I've made big thread on Reddit with everything they plan to have in the game. www.reddit.com/r/GrayZoneWarfare/comments/1dmnesw/list_of_all_possible_future_content_for_gray_zone/
Hey, yes it is and I'd say unreasonably. In the posted video in description by @Mostly_Positive_Reviews you can see he got spikes to 90% of usage with Intel i5 14600KF, much stronger CPU.
@alfiplays5322 Sadly that was the issue of the overlay, my mistake. I was doing complete rework of my overlay and this stayed broken. In reality my CPU was running on 4000-4050MHz. It is fixed now and I’ll add it to the description.
@@midderftw oh ok.. because i have some weird stuttering going on with my 5700x3d but maybe the problem is something else. first video on my chan if u wanna take a look. the longer i play the less stuttering... tried 2 different GPUs, changed RAM, new PSU, i'm out of ideas.. maybe faulty mainboard? xD
Hey, this is default preset from the factory, I did not want to change it for the video. This model of 4070 Super is running hotter, and it is seen in article on techpowerup.com (www.techpowerup.com/review/gainward-geforce-rtx-4070-super-ghost/). But yes, I did tried, and I have it undervolted by .115mV, so temps are in different league, and at the same time I was able to make frequency more stable and slightly higher. To avoid questions like this even though temps in mid 70s are completely fine, in future video I will use my preset.
