'This time its Naked John Lithgow, who kills young women in the bath tub ' Lol this was the peak of Dexter the trinity killer for me still great but never got that quality back . Great recap and very funny thank you .
I was so disappointed a couple years ago when I saw the ending of Dexter I was pissed off at the amount of hours and time that I wasted watching the show. But the other day I was browsing my library and I came across two DVD sets of Dexter New Blood. I had no idea that they even made a new spin-off show to have a better ending of Dexter than the ending we were stuck with for season 8. I haven't watched it yet and I've just started watching it so I really hope that it has a better ending this time.
I always thought Dexter should have ended with him being in a big game of cat & mouse with Miami Metro, ultimately getting caught (rather than killing laguerta), with him getting the death sentence - a bit like how he witnessed the electric chair with Harry when he was younger. Only this time he’s the one in the chair, and Debra is one of 5 people to press the switch to administer the lethal dose. She doesn’t know if hers is the switch that contains the dose, but with camera work we’re led to believe it was indeed her switch that killed him.
Can we just appreciate how good this show is? Everything feels very authentic to the universe of the games and the story was very Fallout, especially with the plot twist regarding Vault 33. Keen to see where season 2 goes
It's wrong of me but I love Dexter, obviously not for his criminal mind but how a " good soul" can be trapped in such a horrible mind. He's not a monster, he's a very troubled soul that didn't get the chance to heal. Deep down I feel bad for him😢but bcs I am as conplex I sympathize with him.
Wow! Someone else who respects Thor Ragnarok! I ❤ this Thor movie! I'm new to the MCU. ppl would say that that's why I like Ragnorak- I don't know any better😢 I know what I like, so I really don't care what they think!✨😉 GREAT JOB!
For anyone who is willing to play this game yourself, consider what I’m going to say: - ALWAYS stock up on healing items, you never know if a wild Nidoran could poison your newly caught Mankey - Whenever possible, try to overlevel all of your Pokémon, it will help to deal with tanky foes - Charizard can’t learn fly, so when you do get the HM, get a random low level pidgey or a useful flying type you want on your team to learn it. - Lastly, that’s it, just enjoy the great and very buggy Gen 1 experience Edit: One more thing: fight every trainer there is in an area, the exp is worth it
Watched the show and thought it had some HUGE plot holes. Turns out, I unintentionally skipped an entire episode wihout knowing it mid season (I pirated the whole season). That explains my confusion.
Bulbasaur is better than squirtle here’s why #1 - Bulbasaur learns vine whip at level 7 in Gen 1 and is able to beat Brock #2 - Bulbasaur is able to land super effective damage against Misty since grass is strong against water, meanwhile squirtle is simply just neutral to water And #3 - Bulbasaur is able to resist the attacks of Electric Gym Leader Lt. Surge’s Pokémon, meanwhile squirtle is very vulnerable to Lt. Surge’s electric mons
True except the most important point 1: Bulbasaur doesn’t learn Vine Whip until lvl 13. That means a significant amount of grinding to be able to beat Brock. Bulbasaur’s other problem is that most of the random trainers you face early have Flying or Poison type Pokemon that Vine Whip is then weak against, so you’re stuck using the very weak Tackle. Which is all very sad because I do love Bulbasaur 🍃
@@ManofRecaps while this is true, you’re forgetting a minor detail! Bulbasaur is a Grass/Poison type, meaning that it’s able to resist poison attacks. And an early flying type like pidgey doesn’t learn a single flying type move until it’s level 28, the only worrisome foe in the wild would be a spearow with peck
Also the random trainers that are found in places before Pewter City like Viridian Forest have Pokémon under level 7 a very large majority of the time, considering your starter will be the strongest Pokémon in your team early on, despite having a measly tackle attack as your only viable choice of offense, you’ll be fine
I mean this in the nicest way possible: this guy's voice puts me to sleep every time. If I'm having trouble falling asleep, I turn on "man of recaps" and I'm asleep in no time. So soothing. Love the videos keep up the good work.
I've always hated the whole trisolaran crap in the books and in the show. It's really stupid. You can fairly easily predict the three body problem with a modern computer. Shit isn't difficult, it's just chaotic but the timescales involved are usually far longer than would be a problem.
