What the hell is wrong on my road king front brakes..try this and everything else many times but no. No brakes at all. New fluid, repairing kit on master cylinder, nothing helps😟
Nice and relaxing, straightforward instruction. My blood pressure did not spike while watching video. Sunday morning is going well and I thank you for calmly providing instruction that I will put to good use. Fantastic. Thank you. God bless.
Years ago a Kawasaki mechanic told me that.......well he didn't specify lower bolt, I had been removing upper, yesterday raising rear on Sportster w/stock pipes the bottom bolt was in the way But I don't lower bike to take axle out over the pipes, I raise the bike to take axle out under the pipes......also makes it easier to get wheel out from under fender As with the Sportster yesterday, I was just making room to get into the left turn signal
Shoulder height bars will never work for ANY dual sport or adventure motorcycle. Ditto for 99% of non-Harley touring bikes. Never on a sport bike. Only for Harley riders who never go off road. Even gravel roads can become dangerous with ape hangers. Note that all ape hanger bars can cause worse rider damage on frontal crashes compared to lower stock bars. Finally note that for the best motorcycle handling and quickness, ape hangers are the worst type of bar ever designed. Ape hangers are for vain riders, mostly newbies, that think they will make their bike look "bad". Or just plain silly.
I wish I could like this 10 times! Absolutely resolved my spongey front brake issue aftertryingbthe old way repeatedly. Ordered a big syringe and was over and done in 5 minutes. This is exactly how you get a new sub!
I know this is a 7 year old post. The topic is controversial. Hill Country has no liability if you follow their suggestion and suffer a brake failure. The Moco could. The Moco spec for 2 year period for brake fluid flush and fill and ABS module purge is solidly based on the design, engineering and usage of the system bolstered by the Moco loss of one or more lawsuits where brakes failed. Compensation was in the millions. The risk is that DOT4 absorbs water and the valves in the ABS module may suffer oxidation and fail. The danger point is at roughly 4% water in your brake fluid. Your brake fluid starts at zero. So your hierarchy of decision making should be like this: 1. Follow manufacturers recommendations. Very low risk of failure. Potential recovery from failure from Moco. 2. Follow recommendations from the myriad of You Tubers on DIY ABS brake fluid change. Since ABS module does not purge a higher but not huge risk of failure. Difficult, perhaps impossible, to assess liability to any 3rd party. 3. Do nothing. Enhanced risk of failure. You are on your own.
I have’04 FLHRCI Classic and it’s set for 2 years while surgery. Running great but the cruise control isn’t working? Any ideas where to start looking? Thank you
I can really appreciate this video. Just recently got an 08 Road King Classic with the stock 7-inch bars . With a light bar like that those handlebars need to be a foot out of the top at least. I'm going to put a visor on the front light as well and not the two sides. At first I thought, should I be doing this, and now it's just obvious. Especially after looking at all the other bikes with high bars
I have to do a bar adjustment on a 15 street glide. Is there enough room to get to the back 2 clamp bolts by just splitting the batwing? Never done one that new. Btw my personal bike is all HC. Ordered from you all yrs back when whole area was flooded.
I am hoping this will work for another issue I am having. I need to replace the light harness that goes up under the back fender. I dread removing the wheel just for that, so hoping this method will allow me to lift the bike without lifting the wheel so I can get my hand up in there.
Okay I need help. I have a 2015 dyna street Bob.
