You can ride any sxs or atv at tecumesh trails no restrictions on sizes, I happen to live few miles from these locations pretty popular area for all riders!
I was just recommended this place yesterday on an Ohio ATV group. I loved this video and how you went in depth on the towns and restaurants and stuff that’ll help plan my trip! My question to you though is are you aloud to ride the ATV/UTV in all of the towns that the trails go through? Or is there some that are a no go
Wow your 50" trails are more like 72", in Michigan, a 50" trail is 50" at best, sometimes your scraping the fenders on a 4x4 utility quad, to get through trees.
So I know Wayne national is a 50" width restriction place, but to me it looks so much wider. I wonder if my 50" machine with 2" wheel spacers would actually fit.... hmm
Probably.. most 50" gates are under 54" wide... if its a tight fit spray WD40 around the tire and pump them up hard 20+psi. They'll slide through.. Be ready for a ticket if you're caught. 🙄
You are confusing Pike STATE Forest with Wayne NATIONAL Forest. There is a very loosely enforced 62" restriction at the state parks. The national parks are 50". My father in law unloaded a 68" wide Teryx in front of two ODNR officers and they didn't say a word. My best friend from high school is in charge of trail maintenance at Pike so I might know a few things.....I am including a link to help educate you. ohiodnr.gov/go-and-do/plan-a-visit/find-a-property/pike-state-forest#:~:text=No%20person%20shall%20operate%20an,first%20Friday%20morning%20in%20April.
I’m from SE Ohio and it’s too bad they don’t allow machines over 50 inches. The amount of revenue they could generate for the state and local businesses would be fantastic.
Exactly, HMCT in W,Va is an equipment show every weekend... Probly drop 10K a year down there riding, x10 years running... "THEY" in Columbus missed the boat with Jesse Owens state park, COULD have been the start of something legit but no...
Great ride guys! Watched the whole thing awesome footage. I'm going to be posting a new one soon too. Last summer and fall we did three trail systems in Hatfield.
There is the new straightsville loop which should be Ok. I want to say it's 3miles long. It's right by begley camp ground. But there are some hills and mud the little 50-90cc machines will struggle with on the main trail. I think you could ride around the Williams camp ground area as well.
Howdy. Noticed you have pod light mounted on your hood between the windshield and hood. Really like that setup. What type of mods and brackets were used to install the pod lights? The wiring part will be easy, but just need a little rundown on the pod light mounting solution. Thanks!
I bought the pioneer 520 in June of this year because of 50 inch trails and reliability but you are definitely right about the ride being rough,I am planning on putting walker Evans shocks on it because they help it ride 1000 times better I hear but they are 1,400 dollars I might have to sell my house to purchase them lol
