Hi, We are Mark & Coral from HitchUpAndTow. On our channel we try to provide weekly video's focusing on Caravanning, Site reviews including disabled persons feedback, Product reviews and some caravan chitchat.
When we first started caravanning, we were a family of four, son Jay, daughter Lauren and our Yorkie Ruby, as the children have grown, more often than not, there is just two of us.
We call that type of camper a "pop up" over on this side of the pond. And people complain about just trying to make the bed in the RV. LOL. Take care over there!!
We’ve just bought a 2005 Pennine Pathfinder Having been caravaners for many years. My husband’s 81 and I’m 77. Looking at your excellent video It’s much less hassle to pack away than the Trigano! Plastic sheets prevent rain getting in much when packing or setting up. But rain is the only thing we can find against it as it’s not ideal. We’re retired, so hey we can wait ‘till it stops!Easy to just put the top canvas to dry out when home. Water carrier fits in the loo compartment and there’s space for the waste tank to travel inside. There’s more room than in our caravan with permanent beds made up. Full cooker, fridge, inside washroom/toilet. EHU etc. When packed we can just see over the top in the rear view mirror. It tows a dream. Less fuel than towing a caravan. We only put clothes and food in the car (and the dog!) and put them in the folding camper when set up. Gas struts help with getting the bed ends up and down. It took us about 2 hours to set up first time but now we’re in and out of the weather in about 20 minutes max! The transit cover is fitted and folds up neatly ready to pull over it. Simply love it!
@@doffchitty1875 I looked at many RU-vid users’ blogs before we even started on putting ours up. Got lots of hints. Pennine also do one where a bloke sets it in 15 minutes! We’ve just bought a new cover for ours which is more pliable than the very old one. It folds up a treat and stays attached to the front of the camper under the bed end. Easily accessible when packing up. Plastic sheets pull out over the beds and settee area to make it easier to keep it dry when raining during erecting or taking down. A small fan heater keeps us cosy when necessary. Just opened her up to put on the new transit cover and, after all the rain, the bedding and seats are all snuff dry and ready to use.
It's funny that Folding Campers are basically a tented version of a Touring Caravan, with extended sleeping pods at each end, and are actually built on a Touring Caravan base, much like how their Trailertent cousin is built on a modified goods trailer, the difference being is that the Trailertents need pegging, but the Folding Campers don't when they're being set up. I have a 2004 Conway Crusader, and that's the biggest model that they do (essentially it's the same as the Cruiser, but with the addition of a chemical toilet with washroom). It looks very much like a Touring Caravan because it's base is very close to one too! lol😂
I am absolutely done in just watching this video, like people have already said, packing it all away in the rain ☔️ and then having to get it all dried out, we will stick with our caravan thank you very much, thanks for sharing it Mark, 👍👍.
We had a pop up camper once. We used it a few times then sold it. Needed to much work. We had bought it used. Was pretty similar to this one. It is a bit of a process. I always thought putting it all away was much more time consuming than setting it all up. It's nice that your friends let you video the tear down.

It is a nice site. Roomy. And the hedges make it seem a bit private. That's really nice. Very cool. We have yet to be recognized while out and about. Or at least we have yet to be approached. Maybe our faces aren't inviting enough 😆 We have met some subscribers while at a specific meetup. But just to run across a random subscriber has yet to happen. Sounds like you have some nice amenities there. I don't even know if we have tennis courts so much anymore. Seems everything has switched to pickleball. Used to love to play tennis. I like the privacy curtain that looks like a wall. Oh ha that's your peeps. Very nice little gathering. Seems like everyone was having a lovely time.

You don't dump it on the pitch you put it onto the grass you can fit longer pipes into the unit so that it reaches..you clean the filter in the kitchen sink and don't allow the dirty matter to go down the plug hole....the water flow is perfect if you clean it regularly a lot easier than lugging a big waste master to the drain point....and if the warden moans just tell him that rain water is dirtier....you must discharge this onto the grass not the pitch lve had one for a while and its a lot easier than a wastemaster as long as you clean it regularly and don't dump big lumps of food down the plug hole
Just watched Glyn coursing havoc in Cornwall because he got bored watching your video, big mistake, we have made the mistake of following the sat nav, I always try to see if anyone has made a arrival video on anywhere we are thinking of going, cheers Mark 👍👍.
I found you need to plug the USBa into a laptop or plug and the USBc into the unit, for some reason, it will only charge this way round. Hope this helps

A big fat yes from us here in the North East. Love everything you do and all I'll say is, is that you should do what pleases you and makes you happy, because life is to short to do stuff that makes you unhappy. I'll still watch it what ever you post. Really sorry to hear about your mum, I lost my dad last year and still miss him every day. Love to both of you xxx

🤔 what do i have in my drawers??? Holy cow. Having moved back into our sticks n bricks and no longer living full time in our RV I really should take a look and decide what we should pull out. For instance i know that there is still 2 sewing machines in the trailer under our bed that i dont need to be hauling around now. 😂
I'm trying to think if there's any crap in ours that we don't use. Not so much in a drawer cuz really don't have drawers, but our cubbies and stuff probably definitely have some things in there that we don't use. I guess we keep it in there for a "just in case" situation. I know my luck. If I take something out that's when I'll need it 😆
You are not getting in my drawers. 😅 We had a friend who had a list of everything and its weight including his wife's underwear. Another mate and I had fun with that list 😂😂
