Okay so- Question. is it possible on a asus vivobook? everything went well until airlinked and then in my headset it took me to the white room thing and it continued to glitch out.
I have quest 3 and I always have 30 fps capped like it doesn't go above at all even if I put it on ultimate even if I put all settings on low its always 30 ><; even when I login through PC or with my PC is 2070 rtx
@@RichardVirgosky I'll try, my brain is lagging I've bought it the first time it came out and it is my first VR and honestly I never got to play without lagging so bad ><;
Performance on quest is limited, if You play without PC You see less details, content and in general everything looks worse. Creators has to upload specific version of their content just for quest/android.
@@RichardVirgosky do you know if it’s the same with the Meta Quest 3? Because I still have the quest 1 but I can’t play many thing on there, I want to upgrade to be able to play at least vr chat to where it’s not as laggy
You can play more games on quest 3, but VRC contains same content on all quest platforms, so the over all performance is better but You won't see more avatars etc
Ive been confident enough to do this with my oculus to vrchat but what stops me is my trust rank. I am currently at known user, will it still have that displayed over my account? My vrchat account is a visitor since its an extra account I barely play on. also I think you went over this but will my favorite avatars or plain avatars stay?
My graphics quality is horrid, I have a decent PC, i7 7700, 16gb ram ddr4, nvidia 1070 gtx, im using steam link and the quality in game goes to shit stupid fast. My PC sounds like its going to explode anytime I boot up vr chat with it, I’m using a meta quest 3 and im just baffled
I'm sorry, but this computer is just not enough, I know that You can still play new games and everything works just fine, but VRChat is different, this game in VR mode uses a lot of resources, even for people with way better PC it can be a struggle.
I'd recommend staying away from 1.0s and just get 2.0 direct from steam. I've owned 8 of each and have had 5 1.0s fail on me. The 2.0s from steam are typically the cheapest and have the best customer support.
I agree, steam has very good customer service, but if You're trying to get cheap lighthouse setup, You can get 1.0 for 20-50$, or for example there was full OG HTC Vive headset, 2x controller, 2x base station 1.0 directly from HTC for just 150$, in this situation that's just an amazing deal, even just for base stations. I know ppl who's 1.0 broke, but I know same amount of ppl who's 2.0 broke, so that's not a rule, base stations are in general very fragile.
@@Puppy-hi4ue VRChat really struggles to hold a stable framerate. And you can't even set refresh rate while in vr at vrc. So vrc will automatically set the fps for your system(gpu + cpu). And that really sucks. I personally own 7900xt + ryzen 5 7600X. And it only delivers constant 40-45 fps when a lot of people are in the map(doesn't matter if their avatars are off or not) and a pretty medium map.
