My name is Andrew, I’m 16 years old and I’m from Enid, Oklahoma. I was born in Oklahoma City and lived in a small suburb in OKC called The Village for about 2 years before moving to Enid in late 2009.
I have a big passion for warning sirens and storms. I’ve been interested in them since I was just 3 years old. I also have an interest in trains and railroad crossings but that has faded over time which is why you don’t see many of those videos on my channel.
I post siren pictures on my Instagram @sirens_of_the_south_and_mw
@@GabrielCL2T22A I noticed my editor does that to my phone videos last weekend. I’m not sure what that’s about. I might have to saturate my second shot to balance it our
@@gtl81199 Active. They used to not work but it seems they’ve went through and fixed things. The one at Windy Nissan 100% works because my audio recorder caught it sounding. I’m not entirely sure about the other one but I don’t see why it would be inactive if the other one isn’t
The weakness of omnidirectional sirens... (all noise gets distributed so coverage is always there, but due to the distributance the volume gets reduced) But it probably is also a byproduct of Sentry's questionable performance ratings on their sirens...
Pulse isn’t as prominent as some 6M’s but I can definitely hear its rumble. Had no idea this one was a 50’s unit, I wonder if the head is original, most dual tone 6M’s were 4/5
@@TheSleepyMechanic0524 It wasn’t as loud as it should’ve been and other people said it sounded weak so I’m assuming the pulsating sound isn’t as prominent due to an air leak. It very well could be an ex-Tulsa unit. They got multiple batches of 6M Thunderbolts through the 50s so I’m sure the head is original, the whole unit would just not be an original Bixby install
@@southcarolinasirenboy I don’t know why you’re trying to drag this on. As I’ve already told you, if you want to watch my videos then go ahead. Just don’t start problems. No idea what you’re trying to do here
@@TheSirenManiacYT I plan on going back at the end of next month so I might do that. I do already have an ambiance with a 40V2T in it from when I went in 2023 so I might upload that
@@TheSirenManiacYT Alright, I’ll upload it tomorrow. It’s not as loud as the other sirens but you can still definitely hear it throughout the whole test
@@TheSirenManiacYT (35.7219203, -97.1355611) The area is gated off so there’s no streetview of it. There’s a video on Facebook of it sounding after it was installed
If it was a Valley Motor it would look like a single phase motor but shorter. This is has a Marathon motor, or whatever the proper name is for it, and on 208V
