Sang in Irish, English and Manx. Great how they turned ancient legends into modern rock albums. Pity they never gave the Táin or Book of Invasions the War of the Worlds Richard Burton treatment.

The whole album The Tain was brilliant. It was a rock version of the Tain Bo Cuiailnge, better known as the Cattle Raid of Cooley. My favourite track on this LP was always Ferdia’s song where the great Irish hero Cuchulainn kills his best friend Ferdia.

They were so 70’s Dublin.

Bought "The Book Of Invasions" (in Brisbane) as an import album back in the very late '70's. Great album....terrific band. I don't think they made it over to here.
