Got here via TotalXclipse, this is awesome. I've been enjoying SF since fall 2023 and I'm already 1600+ hours in, but never found out how to do curves and make those crazy spiral buildings I see popping up on YT. Thank you very much. Mine only snap in large adjustments. How do I get the minor adjustments? My character only has one adjuster in his right hand, but nothing in the left.
I've been working on a hot wheels style race track. It's got multiple races that travel through my factory city, through the floors and ceilings of buildings. It even has jumps from building to building! If anyone is interested in trying it,
Still works in U8, but a little differently. The trick is to build up instead of down, easier using the 1M foundations. 1. Hold CTRL and point mouse at the edge of your main foundation, rotate the foundation and place. 2. Instead of trying to snap the next foundation underneath, snap it on top. Hold CTRL, look at opposite corner and rotate the foundation back to normal and place. 3. Snap foundations underneath that foundation until they are level with your road, then delete the others. This method works well, and allows you to continue curves without having to go underneath every foundation.
