I myself am I self taught handyperson and I learned SO much from your video. I'll be working with a Coldline machine tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks so much for sharing!
If you have a Multimeter you can check microfarads of a capacitor. Thermal compressor shutoffs should not be bypassed for too long but I can tell you're aware of that. Great ingenuity in troubleshooting. Short cycling of a compressor could also be caused by low refrigerant charge but usually you would see evidence of a leak on a self contained unit like that.
Don't buy Vevor slush machine. You will regret it. I bought this machine. It's a very bad machine. THE MACHINE FREEZES AND GETS STUCKED EVERY 5 MINUTES. The seller does not accept the reclamation, seller does not take the machine back either. The machine is not working properly. Don't make mistakes like me. Then, no matter how much you beg, the vevor seller doesn't even hear you. The seller just said, add sugar and it will be fine. He repeats this over and over like a parrot. He does not take the machine back, does not give your money back. He's making fun of you. I can also send a video about the machine to anyone who wants it.
I'm a big fan of end cap filter wrenches instead of the strap wrenches. I have them for my motorcycles, boat and Kubota. Makes it much easier to remove the filter. I mark the filter with a pen or piece of tape and tighten it 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn after it touches the base. Never had a problem with leaks or getting one off after I did that. The factory seems to over tighten the filters.
How necessary do you find this attachment when it comes to grading and back dragging? Is it fine without it? Or is it recommended to have this attachment when it comes to grading? My only concern with it is the bolts eventually coming loose after X amount of usage.
Elmeco slush machines are great slush makers but man fo they run hot. They need all the ventilation they can get. Keep a small fan on the side near the vented panel. It will make a world of difference! Happy slushing 😉
it looks you have the limited trim... I just got one for my wife... I always do my oil change on my tacoma and her old subaru. I was looking at the front piece and this hood piece connected to the skid plate... really serves no purpose.
Yes I agree and yes It's a big pain in the ass to change oil on a Runner and don't forget to grease the driveshaft zerks sorry Toyota propeller shaft lol
You only need 9 ft.lbs. of torque for the drainbolt on the oil filter cap. The oil filter cap calls for 18 ft.lbs. when both are installed at the same torque that's what makes it difficult to remove the drainbolt without the entire oil filter cap coming off.
How & why to replace an o-ring without any tools. See this one minute video... m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a0D_vGFgLD8.html I'm 73. I hope I never have to take my oil to a professional to have it changed. I would rather train someone to do it and pay them instead of a shop where I can't trust the lube techs to do it right.
I complement you on your dedication to change your own oil. I used to do it all the time but now I just get it done at my dealership. I know.. more expensive but I don't have to deal with disposing the oil and crawling under the vehicle anymore.. I'm too old for that now hehe.
Hey Buddy, DONT STOP MAKING VIDEOS! Love em! Now sir first you should take those chains back and buy chains that class 8 trucks use on flat beds they are already made and no f-ing way they are 400 bucks, make sure that they do not have that safety latch on them you do not need them and it will get in the way also is legal in Canada. I would really try to get ratchet type binders as well! you don't want to be screwing with a tie down bar! and knock you f-ing teeth out from that type of binder. Go to a place that sells parts and supplies for tractor trailers, ie Peterbilt, Kenworth and or part stores they will have all that stuff already made and for a fraction of the money! you need anything else message me on facebook instant messaging Jason Harris, Regina, SK or commit here I will be watching for your reply! Keep on keeping on man P.S I am wanting to do what you are doing as a business out here next year! also use single nylon rachet straps for each attachment or implement that's all you need like 5000 pound strap and use chain and cross over on the tractor itself
Change that oil every 200 hrs no matter what or less. I believe that Its also break in oil I think those shavings should get less. I am a journeyman crane operator, plus I owned a lot of equipment class 8 trucks etc. I further would try to run a WIX filter for all hydraulic and engine oil filters. When I buy that same tractor next year I will be running Amsoil for all oil. I believe that hydrostatic drive pump is pretty noisy, I would run Amsoil to hush that pump noise. Just my two cents try not to beat me up guys lol!
Thank you for the input and yes the pump seems noisy. I find it a little quieter now with the filter change. I will look into Wix filter next change thanks buddy...
The shavings are caked in to the filter from operating the machine not from cutting the filter. The shavings are clogged deep in the folds of the filter
Very nice toy .. looks like it will help out a lot around the shop! Looks like you will be spending a lot of time with it now since the wife will now banish you from the house hehe!
The power steering is run off of the transmission pump. That tractor has one pump that runs everything. The steering, transmission, front end loader and the rear 3 point hitch.
Thx Tasha. I had never had the 3 point off since buying the tractor and one of them was a bit rusty making it difficult to come out. Nothing in the manual showed how to remove it. I'll make sure to liberally grease it when I re-assemble to make future removal easier. I love my backhoe!
Tasha Macmillan Same deal for me. I have a 13x just barely 19 I rent right now. we are in the process to get a house. the house we are getting is 20 x 20 feet with a 6'10" door. it's above average in some areas when you look at homes, otherwise it's average size. Checked out homes that included 28 x 32 foot pole barns but they needed far too much work on the home. this will be a nice change for us. I also work on vehicles to keep space away from the wife lol.
I do get 5 gallons of ethanol free gasoline for storage as well. My understanding is modern cars can run it just fine. If the power goes out I will still have some gas. I only have limited space. Although I don't usually run my vehicles under 1/4 tank, the 5 gallons is worth the added insurance! If your going to park a vehicle over the winter or over the summer don't drain the fuel, fill with ethanol FREE! Think about it with your car, 5 gallons with 10% ethanol + 5 gallons ethanol free gives you fuel with roughly 10 gallons with 5 % ethanol. It balances out.
