Change that oil every 200 hrs no matter what or less. I believe that Its also break in oil I think those shavings should get less. I am a journeyman crane operator, plus I owned a lot of equipment class 8 trucks etc. I further would try to run a WIX filter for all hydraulic and engine oil filters. When I buy that same tractor next year I will be running Amsoil for all oil. I believe that hydrostatic drive pump is pretty noisy, I would run Amsoil to hush that pump noise. Just my two cents try not to beat me up guys lol!
Thank you for the input and yes the pump seems noisy. I find it a little quieter now with the filter change. I will look into Wix filter next change thanks buddy...
The shavings are caked in to the filter from operating the machine not from cutting the filter. The shavings are clogged deep in the folds of the filter
