The gehrman fight is truly the most beautiful tragedy in this game. You are both batteling to spare the other from eternal agony and loneliness, and the score really captures that gut wrenching sadness. It is not honourable martyrdom like logarius and alfred. No one will ever recognise the warden of the dream. Yet you are both fighting to spare the other.
Honestly, Bloodborne (Along with watching Evangelion) is the sole reason i still keep on with determination and wonder, seeking out what could be more to life and explore the new things. Just hope those "new things" doesn't end up as a real life Moon Presence 💀
i remember i used to watch my older sister play bloodborne on our ps4 and i always stayed until she finished. The graphics, designs, interactions, and areas were incredibly captivating. I'm still upset that she killed the dogs though
I thought I missed the bloodborne phase because I didn’t really start playing it until after Elden ring but the parries are so clean and the combat is better I believe
This was beautifully put together and some fine words were said. I've been wanting to go back for quite some time now, but have yet to return. Game's a masterpiece.
Hi. Idk if u will read this but please drop ur music on Spotify. I rly love ur music, i listen to it when I'm playing games, in house or even in school. So I would be glad that you would put these songs on Spotify
Ludwig's final words always bring tears to my eyes. Bloodborne is a world without hope, and yet... Ludwig, even after witnessing the darkest of nights, managed to regain his humanity, even if only for a moment. Best boss in Soulsborne, without a shadow of a doubt.
I consider Leave canon, I like Angela & Eddie being a warning to James and the town not necessarily being evil, but bringing these characters trauma to the forefront to face head on and either be defeated by it or push through it to the other side finally healed. I want Mary to be happy, and James wasn’t an evil person that deserved death, also Laura needs to be taken care of. Leave hits me right in the feels, In Water makes me feel like it was all pointless. We already got a taste of an In Water ending with Angela’s story we didn’t need it again.
Bloodborne is my favourite game of all time. Haven't been able to play it in a while since I've been more focused on ER and BG3 and my PS4 is in another city, but I come back to this video from time to time to remember it. Always a great time.
So I’m new here, but is your end music a remix of music from The Never Ending Story? I literally saw the kid reading the book in a dusty attic when I heard it
Its funny that the Skyrim compass is the go-to example for clunky navigation UI when Skyrim has my favorite diagetic navigation tool, the clairvoyance spell.
I can safely say that this game saved my life Played it when I was deeply depressed, and it rlly gave me an out for so damn long that it pulled me out of it Forever grateful to Miyazaki and the team
As a resident Bloodborne hater (more like critic), who loved the game but was always upset that it seemed like people talked about it so much more than the studio’s other works, this is the first endorsement of the game that hasn’t felt unfocused, blindly obsessed or overall just obsessed with the games edginess. I think I’m due for a final fourth play through to try and finally see this game as it’s own piece of art, separated from the overwhelming hype and claustrophobic praise associated with it.
