1st off.. Altman Be Praised 🙏.. Forever making us whole.. 2nd... As soon as you mentioned Limewire, i had to stop the video and type. 1:05 Limewire was solely the reason i got into Silent Hill.. Literally by chance, i downloaded random songs from SH titles . Not knowing the can of worms i was about to open or unleash rather... Keep in mind, up until then i hadn't played the games at all or had any interest in playing them.. Didn't even know who the hell Akira Yamaoka was.. SH 4's "Tender Sugar" was officially the 1st song i ever heard and downloaded off limewire.. Then i was fucking hooked after and the rest is history folks.. The magical and intriguing part for me was , imagining the meaning behind each song.. Since i never played the games , so all i had was my imagination to go off of while listening 🎧.. Those were some good times .. Smoking a joint to the face in my room with lights off and my headphones on.. I was already a huge Nine Inch Nails fan.. So Akira's industrial melodical vibes throughout his tracks , made me feel right at home.. Ironically.. ok back to the video essay..
