Man. .. this happens every time I get a new. Machine .. I think I’m making. Proper heavy tunes. ,, then someone explains that the sequencer is the starting point .. nah. Only joking. But I would say to anyone if you push buttons and get tunes in the first day of purchase nuts well worth it. Because it’s like going. Music school again .. when you learn any machine
thanks for this tutorial ......I highly recommend making the mod for the snare drum to the beats ,makes a big difference to the decay of snare, making it sound so much better
I’m a brand new Volca Drum owner and I found this tutorial to be one of the very best. However, after putting together a sequence and utilizing all of editing tools, I cannot get the program to save, even when following the steps at about 18:20 of the video. When I load the program to play back, it reverts back to how it sounded before my edits. What step am I missing? I want to be able to save and come back to it sometime later for more editing.
solid straightfoward video, but why is it every synth/ drum machine tutorial is accompanied by the longest gangliest fingernails, i know its been 4 years but trim those mfs
1) can you save patterns? i'd like to have different patterns saved for different songs for live 2) is the midi in something that could be used to trigger when to start playing a pattern via a keyboard?
Quite late here but I've purchased a Digitakt 2 and found your quick-start very helpful. It's currently tougher to find content on the Digitakt 2 that is similarly foundational but I can work out the differences. These points are perfectly simple to help me begin making something that I can work from. I'm new to your channel and will now check out what else you've uploaded. Being originally most comfortable with guitar, I'd like to see how I can work with both of these instruments together. Thank you for taking the time to share. /cheers
Simon! my god, i was about to sell all my Volca's as i was making so much unlistenable rubbish, but came across your tutorials and have learnt more in one afternoon than in the whole 10 years i;ve had the Sample, FM & Bass! you're a genius mate! seriously! but at least the world will blame YOU for making me make more 'music'! thanx again!
