Roland TB-03 Bassline Tutorial
In this video I've got my hands on a ROLAND TB-03 and we find out just how hard this thing is to program!
When the original device came out in 1982 it was designed to replace a bass guitar player, however, due to it sounding nothing like a bass guitar and being notoriously difficult to program it failed commercially.
Later it was adopted by underground producers and became the backbone of ACID House. Launching a new genre. This revived the machine and it became a classic.

Very good tutorial, I learnt a lot. Many of the other TB-03 videos can be a bit fast and therefore end up in confusion. Thanks man yours covered things that’s totally new and in a very calm and straightforward way. I’ve Subscribed BTW.

Thanks for the tutorial. You'd need to check the difference between a delay and a reverb, though 😉

How you can insert silence or delete a note while programming. I've already have broken my mind trying to do this.

You need to set the step to a rest value. watch the create a pattern in original mode section at 12 mins

Is their factory re set ?saved me reading the stupidly over complicated instructions it’s bad enough learning guitar intervals whilst battling addictive polish lager ( that’s y I bought theses boutiques) lots of bogus people on you tube telling porky pies about performance of certain synths on you tube … u are not one of them . Thanks totally.. I’ve just thought factory reset would be sort of pointless ✌️
