For a small channel this is well put together and entertaining although the crash sucks your going to get eveyone telling you what to do and what you did wrong its part of this platform keep up the good work I am glad I found your channel
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife Thank you :D Enjoy the videos! I know exacly what went wrong and i will make a video soon. I have almost rebuilded the Slash and have made some new improved parts.
@@user-ud5xw8ox8g Thank you :D Now i know not to crash the car. Crashed the Slash at 195 a few weeks ago with minor paint damage. But i dont know what paint was used, i bought it painted. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UKVWWUmbV2k.html
@@Shellzwick I had a mamba 6S in my e-maxx that worked for years and years, i think 7. That the bec broke.... The XLX-2 is the only one that blew up. It happened during a testdrive, i drove maybe 300mtrs and i blew up. Luckely no real damage to the car and other parts. I like the programmabillity and datalogging :D along with the power. Its something HW did not have at the time i bought the XLX2. Now with the new G2 versions of the HW series i am curious to try one but i dont need a new esc right now :P
@@Shellzwick That is treu, hobbywing is a lot cheaper and surely delivers a punch! I had my Max6 for more than 4 years in the X-maxx untill this video :P Never complained about the HW. I also had HW in my Mugen MBX8 eco and i still have HW in my TRX-4 and they drive awesome. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kPI654lqjbE.html Here you can really see what a max6 can do in a X-maxx. Noud and I are both driving the max6. He with the 1100kV hw motor and i with a 1050kV Leopard motor. We use different gearing but still kick ass!!
@@Shellzwick That is very nice :D I always wanted a max-5 in my X-maxx, but i bought mine second hand and it already had a max-6. I never came to it to switch it. Than last winter i switched the XLX2 from the Limitless to the X-maxx. As the Limitless is still under contruction from a Limitless to a GT car. What else do you drive?

@remborc 😂coool , brother, I love your content. I love watching about RC i spent my time drawing RC and making chassis, especially i love working engine RC cars, so I hope I can get one one day or built by myself🙏🙏
2 reasons -because i can and with the aluminium plate it makes nu difference airodynamic wise -i had a Slash before i started running and it was hcg. At that time i was unaware about the hcg/lcg conversionkit Traxxas sells and i did not know what parts needed to be changed if i would buy everything sepparate.
I gues nobody :P. I could have zoomed out a bit and put that in the video so i looks perfect. But i wanted to keep it real. Same at with my other DIY video's, sometimes its not perfect. Thank you! I am also happy with the result. Now i am planning to paint a GT body for the Limitless but its hard to think of a nice collor sceme. Atleast i have cutted the body and it fits!
Thats why i was waiting so long for traffic to clear. Its a one way road, 800mtrs long inbetween intersections without side roads. The green lane to the opposite side of the road is 5mtrs wide. Normally i drive on a sunday, than there is no traffic.
I know.... I already orderd new parts and started making a new chassis plate. I think the problem was in the bellcrank system. I am trying to make new parts for that one to.
Yeah i know.....It sucks but ill live I took the Slash apart and i think its the bellcrank that had to much play and thats why it swiveled while braking
Great job! I'm sure Picasso also had some imperfections. I think the paint job looks great because we all know how hard it is to paint Lines on a RC Car. Thank you!
Thank you, your welcome! And when i drive 200kmph+ you dont see it :P That is why i used this 1, 2, 3 & 6mm tape. It makes making lines much easier! The trick it to apply it without gaps at the border of the tape so no paint will go under, and taking it of slowly after the paint is half dry/wet (thats how i did it)
Heat is the best way to remove a bearing thats tight in an metal casing. It also works great to loosen screws that a locked up! Goodluck working on the car :D

Thank you! Good to hear you enjoy watching. Last year i even did a 208kmph with the Limitless and thats my overall PB. Yesterday i did a 196kmph with my Slash :D , that was a very clean run and a PB with the Slash. More content to come, and there is also more check out my channel. My goal for this year with the Limitless is 240 but for that i need to buy better batteries. If you look at my xlx2 data logging via my dropbox (link in discription) you see that the voltage dip is almost 1v per cell at top speed. I switched the Limitless to a 1717-1650kV motor and now i am in the process of making my Bittydesign seven body fit on the Limitless (also videos about that :P and more to come). I am designing 3D printed wheel arces so everything will run smooth.
@remborc wow, with the slash. I started a similar project back in winter. I need to get it finished. It all started when i took the stock electronics and put them in a traxxas rally car, which is basically a slash with LCG chassis. It has had more done to it to handle the power but its not quite finished. I actually have a video of that build on my channel. I'll definitely check out the data logging. I am preparing my limitless for its 1st speed run this year. I wish I'd have went with the xlx2. I put in a spektrum 160 amp esc and a 1250kv motor. I have modified my suspension and tweeked the aerodynamics, and got it dialed in and almost ready. I will be modding my dx5c before I do the run tho. Currently waiting on those parts to arrive. Last thing I need is foam tires for the run.. Great job so far. Will keep checking back for more content
@@SubZ3ro907 A 160A 1260kV setup can do 110MPH in a limitless so that will be a beast :D Getting an XLX2 in your car is awesome but youll be to nervous to drive it, atleast i had that. 1200€ car excluding batteries knowing it can go really fast.... The fist time i planned to drive that car i was constipated for 2 days so nervous that i was. With the Slash not really. All electronics are second hand, hardware on the Slash is about 50/50 some new, some second hand like shocks, shocktowers, and some integy parts. And some parts i make myself. Ill check out your channel to see your Rally/Slash !
The Limitless is an awesome car :D Unfortanitly i have no experience with an Habao... Come back tonight to see my speedrun of the Slash! After work i will speedrun and hopefully edit and upload it later this evening. I have good hopes for a new PB :D
You can fully clean out your differentrals by using a can of Silicone Spray. The spray dillutes and breaks down your old silicone oil in seconds, leaving your gears clean and as shiny as the day they were installed. Leaving your gears with a perfectly clean surface for inspection. No need for scraping or picking it out. Brake cleaner is extremely toxic. Degreaser is also a Petrochemical. Silicone is non toxic and is widely used in food safe containers and has zero ill effects to your health.
Hello, I have pulled the links a few times with my hand and one link is strong enough to lift the whole car. I also have made the steering link this way and i steer when the wheels are jammed.... already had a few rollovers from a hill sideways. I think it is strong enough for heavier cars!! You can always decide to make the screws that go into the carbonfiber longer so there is more connection with glue. But i dont think you have to do that under normal crawling consitions.
It eliminates the movement of the slidergears in the diff housing turning it into a locked diff. Locking a centerdiff makes sure that the front and rear wheels turn equaly fast. Whe the wheels turn equaly you can make wheelies more easely. Normally whey you pull the throttle the front wheels lose ground pressuse and tent to turm faster thus making the rear wheels turn slower making wheelies harder with a basher.
