On the path of building a 4x4 camper to drive from Alaska to Australia! I know it sounds ridiculous but hey, life should be a little ridiculous. Currently, I am in the building phase so it's just some backyard fun with a couple cool cars. Watch the progress as we get everything running and driving like they should! Stay tuned for more videos!
Work and drove one these while stationed overseas with a reconnaissance squadron. We used these as our Maintenance Control Contact support vehicle. Basically a portable maintenance shop if ya will. Great to see your on the road again. Haven’t seen ya in the Valley lately. ✌🏽
Window looks great! Do you have vids of how you extended the front of the habitat? This is exactly what I want to do. The original space with the snorkel and spare tire is massive on the lmtv. Would love to reclaim it with the habitat like you did. Any help is appreciated!
Hi it’s awesome to hear back from you. I’d like get one its a goal. Still work full time for the military🇨🇦All you overlanders are a great inspiration. All the best and safe travels. Blessings.
Please don't go on RU-vid and talk about military shit when you clearly haven't been in the military and don't know anything about military shit. The hand throttle is NOT a cruise control and you would be severely reprimanded for using it as such - it is dangerous and stupid. You or whoever did the install put the ECO hub drive plates on backwards . Stay in your lane and talk about what you know. You will be much better off not looking the fool to us Motorpoool veterans. Hope to meet you at a roundup sometime and further your knowledge with my 2008 M1079 A1R build.
Hey brothrrr. I love love love your rig❤️🚛. Did you purchase from Midwest equitment????what company did you use to make your custom light bar???? Is it made of aluminum???? keep up the awesome content. Nick Canada
Find this one through a fire service in Texas. Midwest is great but they charge a premium on their vehicles. The light bar itself I designed and worked with a local welder. Are you building a truck?
Yep, they look inside out to me also… That welded plate with the 4 notches around its edge is supposed to be inside the hub/facing inward… installed this way the hub centers with the axle splines are spaced that much farther out from the hub, resulting in less axle spline engagement… on the rear this could effect axle position in the differential, on the front, axle diff position and the axle u-joint placement in relation to the steering pivot…
@@destinationdaily definitely. Currently I’m designing a platform & bed combo for our dog and miscellaneous items for the crew cab area of a Ram Dually pickup. Seems today in the SY Valley we will have a nice sunny day so I’ll be working outside as well.✌🏽
Yes having a burrito at the end is the proverbial cherry on the top. How’s this machine coming along. I believe you and I spoke about this and your art work when you visited the Cowboy Hat shop I work at a few months back. I would love to see how things are coming along with this beast of a machine if you’re still working on upgrades and all? ✌🏽🇺🇸🙏 - David @ K.J. Murphy’s Custom Hatter Ps i forgot to add that the sunshine and a above freezing temps of Arizona & Nevada must’ve also felt like heaven.
Prayers for our truckers who keep our needs and supplies coming! GOD SAVE THE USA FROM THE DEMONIC RATS NESTS THATS EATING AWAY THIS NATION 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢!
I noticed the air pressure warning alarm (ear piercing shrieker) was not present on start-up!- Good Choice! Looks like it's going to be a great adventure vehicle!
Do the warning lights still work? Depending on where and how the vehicle is liscensed, that could be an issue if you get inspected, as the root certification of this vehicle is under the commercial standard, regardless of how you are using it…
