I feel the same way. Especially now that new music is crap these days... I saw SP last week in NJ and it was awesome. Got to show my kids an actual great concert!
Cried like a baby when this came on I knew i would cry if he played this song because its a very meaningful song to me because it comforted me during very dark times Such a great concert I am so happy i got to experience this
that song is certainly worthy of a cover. but why cover if you are just redoing it and not making it your own. i saw them perform this back in 2000 and it wasn't as heavy. not sure which i like better.
poor james. made the whole set and 200 guitar changes and his strap broke. never saw that before :D i thought he dropped it because wasn't watching him as much as corgan (from where i sat stage left couldn't see jimmy at all).
I was there!!! Took my 8 year old to his first concert!!! What a awesome show. I am so glad I made the choice for smashing pumpkins to be the first band. It was soooo much fun 😊
Yeah… there was this person with their arms spread out like rose from Titanic literally the entire show. Kinda ruined the view. They were vibin’ though, so I can’t be mad.

Thanks for me lol. And yes Andrew, I had waited well over a decade for that show and battled 2 years of covid complications to get there that night. I went all in…as you clearly could tell. All is well that doesn’t end with the fan having as close to religious experience experience as possible falling over than thin piece of glass…I was holding on 😂
gosh, i want to like this song but it reminds me of Starz and how Starz is dynamic as fuck, and this is slow and tired EVEN WITH Jimmy kicking ass! The bridge is mumble soup too. lol, the vocal performance is weak so i can see why they put in a drum solo, but why keep this song in the setlist too now? to sell more Shiny Vol 1? don't get it myself, but .. 🤷🏻♂️
