We get no say in the matter when prices go up .but when Michigan has record cherry yields farmers are forced to dump it to keep the market regulated...
It does look sad. But rain water is so good for the earth and it will only take a few days to drain and dissipate. What can be bad is any chemicals that Are left around to seep into the ground. But they will recuperate. The fields are usually bare this time of the year anyway. I would travel to work thru the roads by fields and winter is usually bare or replanted with a buffer crop. It’s part of the cycle.
I think that is why our shelves in the grocery stores are full of produce. They prepared for on coming storms and some beautiful looking veggies at our stores. What is difficult now is getting people to get to work and shipments coming in from other areas from other types of road damage or not accessible
