I’d love to know who you use this on inside corners. Or any stretcher on the inside corners. I was always told with larger animals (horses/cows) you put the fencing on the inside of the posts so when/if they lean on them it’s pushing against the posts and not just the staples, which would be the case if the fencing was on the outside of the posts.
so, wait, how do you put the c clamps on further down, in the middle or lower area where the fencing is in the way, and also it would still act as an impediment when stretching the fence through
Hello, I need help please, Someone install steerable drop axle on my truck. When I test ride, the drop axle keeps turning right and makes the ride unstable. What can be the problem?
Couple of years old and you stated the fence stretcher was $450. It's now $650 at TSC. That's crazy inflation, plus they want to charge you a fortune ($229) to have it shipped to their store, which I think is outrageous for them to do. I'm pretty certain they receive shipments weekly to restock their store. Most stores don't charge shipping for something they don't have in stock but sell.
If you have a Rural King near you they sell the Tarter brand one for around $450 and do not charge you to have it shipped to your local store. Just did this today.
Other than volume control, the 3M unit does everything I need. If the phone rings, one tap on the button will answer it. For playback for audio books or music one tap will pause the sound and another will restart. Two taps skip and three taps go back a chapter or song. So it's not as bare-bones as you think.
You got a subscribe! We are debating if getting the 12k or new 15k. Would you recommend going as big as the 15k? We only have 100amp service but want to go off grid fully. Already partial. Just debating if the 12k will be enough, or if 15k is worth the extra? Thanks. And again great video thx
Best sol-arc video I found yet! Have you had any issues with any high inductive 120v loads causing a line imbalance. I heard this was an issue/ one thing they don’t like being a transformer less inverter.
I found the Halo collar a very poor product. I bought a collar back in late 2020. Had multiple issues with it not working. Returned for a refund. This all took about a year to send it in multiple times and then to get the refund. In late November of 2021 they came out with an updated version. Claimed they had fixed all the issues. I applied my refund for the new collar. Upon receiving the new collar the same issues persisted. My dog would get beeps and corrections when no where near the boundaries. Corrections and beeps would be delayed. There was no consistency. I would not count on these collars to completely safeguard your dog. The quality is not there. Might as well spend the $ on fencing or an underground dog fence.
They warn us not to wear our cell phones against our bodies, yet we selfishly strap these collars on animals since what, they're just animals? Most people running a ranch or farm get rid of useless dogs that can't be trained. They strrap those same type of collars on wild animals inhibiting their natural instincts and putting them in danger. A mountain lion was hunted and shot in the neck. It was collared and the bullet hit the battery which blew up on the neck causing pain and burned the neck badl. The hunter wanted to quickly put the fire out to save the pelt. But the cougar suffered a horrible death. All in the name of science, so they can track the animals. It's inhumane and these huge unnatural collars are also inhumane. They could get caught on a fence, grabbed and held by a predator and so on. When these collars fall off the batteries are poisonous to the environment and usually never found or retrieved at all. I would say no to those collars and just get a better dog.
👏👍🏽Bravo… very informative and Great Review of the collar. We have an invisible fence up, had a Husky that blew right through it. Now we have an extremely Rambunctious Belgian Malinois which, we don’t want to chance it. Being that you have 3 Rottweilers and they are categorized as “aggressive” dog breed like ours….. we are soooooo comfortable and confident with your review to giving Halo2 Dog Collar a shot on our Belgian Malinois!
Guy was five minutes in before he said anything useful about the headphones told us your entire life story except you didn’t tell us your dogs name tell us your dogs name so we know everything about you. This is the most rambling Guy I have ever heard.
Did you let the dog figure out the boundaries on its own or were you actively involved in training him? (I’m new to this type of collar, but I do already own a Halo.$
The 3m I really like but the wire eventually comes loose to the point where it loses connectivity. That’s the only use I have. Buying my 3rd pair 4 yrs.
Thank you for making the video! Really great breakdown and kind of similar to what I wanna do at my house. Only difference is I would be grid tied but not backfeeding anything to the grid.
Well? If it works on that big machine like that, it should work on my troy built tiller ...new oem belts with max adjustment just won't engage so , it could be bad sheaves and very expensive to go that route
I have an large area too. Did you have to walk them over the whole area to show them the boundary or did they learn from just a few close boundary points?

Nice. This a common problem with transformerless Inverters that contain 2 X120V legs. Each leg can only handle 1/2 of the 120V loads. This adds capacity to the overloaded leg of the inverter when there is a larger than 1/2 load on one 120v leg of the inverter and stops the inverter from overload tripps.
Hey thanks for all the info you gave it's much appreciated. I have six dogs and two of our boys we need to keep separated can two different areas be set up for a situation like that?
