Hello, how are you? I admire your work with the Blicklin SV1. I'm trying to rebuild one but the booster and the brake cylinder are very rusty and I think it's better to buy them. Can you help me with what reference I can buy? It's very difficult to find what part number they are. I appreciate if you can help
I have a 1968 Mercury Montcalm with a bendix 8.75 inch power brake booster. Rebuilds are no longer available. Your can and push rod look close to mine. What is the cost of your rebuild? If not applicable, do you know of other suppliers? Malcolm
Mineral oil may be scarce at an auto parts store because it went away with R-12 in 1994 but it is available in abundance at your local refrigeration supply house.
@@bricklinhh3481 I don't know where you're located, but you can go to any United Refrigeration branch or Baker Distributing. The company I work for bought several gallons from Grainger almost a year ago l, but they are usually a little pricey. I'm sure if you just search for "mineral refrigeration oil" on the web there would be several outlets for purchase.
Very helpful. One question I would ask is what quantity of vacuum should you apply during the bench test. Pretty sure we can figure it out, but would be best if you said what you recommend. Thank you for the excellent video.
So nice to meet you at the Pacific car show this year! Jay Leno drove Jeff Dunham’s Bricklin recently, wanted to make sure you saw it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OSP80Xr_O58.html

thank you, this was very helpful :) I was both suprised and suspicious that the repair kit contained less parts than old components removed, but I followed your video (which showed the same repair kit I also bought) and everthing's fine so far!
