Welcome to my channel! I started this channel to share my love of paper crafting and since then I have been able to turn that hobby into a business. Follow along on my journey to a creative career.
Hope you enjoy watching my videos as much as I enjoy making them xo.
Amazing video. I'm still struggling doing the work life balance with a toddler 😔. Your videos are motivation for me to try RU-vid. But I've started recording just haven't posted. Question, for your custom T-shirt do you have a listing for it or they just messsgr you?
Thank you! Toddler life is definitely trickier because at that stage they need us soooo much more especially if they’re home. My biggest advice is to soak it all in when they’re awake and work during naps/ night time. If you have family help, maybe set time during the day when they can come over and watch/play with your little one while you work. 🥰 As for the custom orders, it’s just direct messages for now. I take them based on what is ordered. Sometimes it doesn’t work out if someone just needs 1 custom shirt so that’s why I don’t have it listed on my website yet.
@@SteffanyCrafts I work a full time job so when I'm trying to put her to bed I actually fall asleep myself. She is a character I'm definitely soaking it up LOL. Thank you for the advice ❤️ Ok that makes total sense because I have the listing in my site but tell them to pay a deposit and than message us. But I can see how that is confusing. And a lot of my custom orders are local anyways. Thank you for helping me yak through that LOL. I'll take the listing off the site where it's available to customers
I’m so sorry your market didn’t go well. But don’t give up! I appreciate you sharing this! This last weekend I had two events. On Saturday I only made two sales and Sunday barely made my booth fee back and my tent broke because of the wind. Sometimes we feel really defeated and exhausted because we put so much work into it but we gotta dust ourselves off and try again! Sending you love and good vibes!
That sucks about this market. I know markets can be tough from watching people who's business primarily rely on markets and some years it's like every one they do is bad so don't feel too bad about yourself or your products because it's neither! sometimes it's just bad markets. Your stuff is awesome so don't give up on them (or yourself!) hopefully the fall one is way better. Keep on killin it!!
Hang in there. You should display all of your shirt designs so people see more choices. You have lots of space in your booth, show off what you have to offer! It will draw people to your booth. Best of luck!
I'm sorry this market did not go to plan, but it is most definitely NOT YOU! i have been doing markets for 2.5 years now and i have had my fair share of breakdowns and disaster 😂 from my tent flipping over, two tents breaking on me, the rain ruining my stuff, and the wind taking my stuff down! Markets are definitely not for everyone but everytime i see your things i always think THESE THINGS MOST DEFINITELY WILL SELL OUT! The fact that the other fall festival is established and has an application form is a GREAT sign. i NEVER do markets that dont require an application form because they most likely will not do good and ik the prices on these markets are steep but to me they are always worth it, i usually range from $30-200 for a market day. Your set up is amazing your products are amazing, the biggest fault in this truly is finding the RIGHT market for you, YOUR right audience! I truly wish you the best, and i hope this fall festival is the one that brings you up!!!
Booth looked so great - love the signage - pro touch - wishing you the best - I’ve had my sad shows too but when you just done know until you know and you weren’t alone - I think it’s the camaraderie that makes it so worth it 😊
I’m sorry that the event was disaster. Markets are always such a hit or miss and the outdoor ones, the weather can make or break the event. Hopefully the Fall one has a better outcome. Your sister’s responses to the questions had me cracking up, especially the keychain one 😂
You and Jenn are such a vibe!! You two are sister goals. I am so sorry things didn’t go as planned, all of your work is absolutely amazing! But I totally know what you’re talking about because my self esteem is horrible, especially in this small business world. I am doing my first market on October 12th and as soon I submitted my payment this morning anxiety kicked in. I self sabotage a lot! I don’t feel like my work is good enough and because one person told me I’d never be able to do something, it’s stuck with me, and I’ve taken that lie into everything I do or attempt to do. I’ve recently shutdown my Shopify account, I don’t post on my socials so I totally understand what you’re saying. The fall market will be your best market yet, we’re speaking it into existence.
Awww that makes me so sad. Don't let one person dictate who you are or what u do. I'm sure u make beautiful products and so if one comment did all that, I hope my one comment and change it all. You are amazing and you're going to great things! You're first market is going to be amazing! Speaking it to life!
@@rhondagarciaarellano2367 You’re so amazing! Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement I appreciate that so much. I pray that you have nothing but blessing and success in all you do❤️❤️
Stephanie, I am speaking SOLD OUT for you into existence for Oct 12th. And as for that one miserable person, don’t ever dim yourself down because of the opinion of others. Especially one as miserable as that. You got this friend 🫶🏼
Ohhhh friend. Thats rough. It looked like you were having a good time pre-rain though ❤. I do a cinderblock on each tent leg w/bungee cord thru the hole and around each leg pole, they are 36/38lbs, each we get pop up storms here in SC also. Im glad you tried!!
I related and empathized so hard with what you’re feeling. I did my first market last year in November. It was a huge fail. The weather was freezing, people came in and out of my tent and didn’t interact with me. One customer was eating hot cheetos and touched my sweaters. Total fail. I haven’t done a market since and I haven’t turned on my heat press since. I felt so rejected! I’m hoping your next market goes well! As for me, the social anxiety was so bad, I don’t think I could put myself through another market. 😅
Hi! I'm a new subscriber and already in love! I'm going to binge your old videos, because you have motivated me to do some cake toppers for no reason at all but because they are works of art! Thanks for your inspiration, take care.
So cute! Stefany , can you share what store this is? Those mini shopping carts are too cute. I’ve seen them on Amazon, but they’re less expensive at the store you were in.
