If you wanna use it on a recent iPhone or iPad, yes definitely. You can use it as an app or as a AU plugin into GarageBand or Logic or Cubase and many others
Can you make a video with the hyper accuracy models on tonehunt? I think the users obijuan slamminmofo and danielguyen (one guy that has the toneking amp profiled) have profiled with the bigger neural network keep on the good work
Yes I love Genome even more now! That’s crazy to bring such a complete amp plugin at this price! I mean it’s replacing all my Archetype collection right now❤
I love em. Wish I had them on every guitar & bass that I own. Silky smooth bends. I have a 2014 Suhr SSS with the fabulous Gotoh 510 Trem system and Lollar Dirty Blondes = "Tone Heaven" - Best guitar I've ever played.
Was it a conscious decision to leave the same Codex settings (input type, tonestack, GEQ, Enhancer) for most of the rigs ? :) I wish they had a function which auto resets these settings when you from one profile to the next (feature request incoming). For now my workaround is to have a "default" preset that i load just before trying out the next profile. This is a massive workflow bottleneck though.
Yes, was to test only the full rig NAM part. BUT for the next ones I’ll play a lot more with parameters. Enhancer section add a lot of compression and eq.
if this is the version of the anti-aliasing filtering they're using on their quad cortex then it's not looking great for the future of that platform compared to fractal, tonex and helix which have no audible aliasing
SS suck! I had a Suhr with them and I sold it within 3 days AWFUL TONE the most non musical sounding guitar I’ve played in my 40 plus years of playing if you’re not a shredder pointy headstock guy steer clear The headstock is ugly as sin too. Disappointed is the understatement of the millennia
You’ll see that many aliasing noise starts from 6-7k. I’ll release a video soon about that, about isolating aliasing noises and raising the relative volume of artefacts to amp plugin « wanted » output to see if we can easily spot the aliasing, even if the noise comes even worse. Quick spoiler = it’s pretty hard to spot, but it finally give a «more » gain feel, exactly what does Quad Cortex when using captures
Yes. The mod is very light = knobs and relic 😂 Stainless steel frets are awesome, they didn’t lie, after years it’s still perfect (and I play everyday with monkey grip-also a bad thing to keep the notes in tune btw😂, trying to have a light touch!?
I agree that it's currently top of the pile for what is publically accessible for "profiling" style functionality. I think tonex will probably improve though and is already ahead for me by quite a margin (as small as these are from some point on) compared to Kemper and (by an even lesser margin for me) the quad cortex.
